Preparation for Government Service and Tea Party Tips

By

I enjoyed an evening meeting of the AmericanMajority.org in Little Rock, Arkansas on Wednesday May 6, 2009. Ned Ryun, currently the head of American Majority, was in attendance. The instructional meeting was led by Angela Faulkner. Well attended, it was an amazing experience and filled with information galore. Valuable tools were provided, which I guarantee, will be an asset for the next Tea Party event, Political Campaign, or even a Business Launch.

The meeting included people of all races, all political affiliations, many levels of Government, and various income levels.  This was an all around The 912 Project style meeting working at educating people on how We Surround Them.

Some of the meeting highlights:

* Building Coalitions, Reaching Your Community, and Organizing Meaningful Events
* Holding Your Elected Officials Accountable
* Getting Involved in State and Local Political Campaigns
* New Media: Opinion Editorials, Blogs, Wikipedia Projects and more

Attention, tea partiers – here is a way to get your point across and also help those less fortunate at the same time. “Teabag the White House and feed the hungry!” (http://tinyurl.com/dejmmt) – make a donation which will be directed to a food bank, and Glass Half Empty will send virtual teabags to DC July 4 in your name. If you already support a particular food bank, feel free to suggest that one as a potential recipient. Thank you.

Teabagging America…Jesus, will you neocons never figure it out? That won't get you any votes. You better get your ideology together before you completely disappear from the political scene completely. Notice to all teabaggers…conservatism as you know it is dead and gone.

    • Don't tread on me says:

      scared?

    • news_across, I believe the only one scared at this point is you. This might explain your defensive posture. As I have stated previously, this movement is not only about Republicans, but is indeed about conservative Americans from all political backgrounds except the extreme liberals who are far fewer in numbers than you brag them up to be.

I see Sam is wishing you to be banned. I believe in free speech, even from you. Keep your posts down to 5 a day and quit spamming and keep your language clean and you will not be banned. Do the opposite and you will be. The phrase tea bagging does not bother me one bit as it is only a term and is only offensive to those who allow it to be offensive. I choose not to let it bother me because I am damn proud of the tea party participants and the fact that the likes of you will not slow this movement down no matter how hard you try.

Read down in the comments and you will find a great suggestion for you by razorsedge. See YA!

scared of a small political minority that has the whole Nation laughing at it? No.

  6. Tea Bagging Neocon says:

Oh please stop, I feel so demeaned when you call me a neocon and a tea bagger. I see the light now, oh King Obama please forgive me for not realizing you devinity. Now I can quit my job and wait for the governement to pay off all my debt. What a great country it is now that the evil Bush is in exile. Long live the King.

  7. Sam Deakins says:

Folks, the poster(ior) news_across is using inappropriate language from the gay community to slander us. His "Teabagging" salutation refers to gay male oral sex practices. This poster(ior) shud be banned from this site. People like he need to open their eyes and not their mouths(teabagging)..

  8. razorsedge says:

Why is it that some of the people in this country think they have the right to their opinions but no one else does.? Oh, and why is it that those of us who want and expect our congress and president to DEFEND AND UPHOLD the constitution of this nation are the crazy ones???? Why? If you don't like American and what she stands for then LEAVE! I'm not being ugly I am being serious. There are lots and lots of sub standard countries to live in… GO!

    • news_across says:

      Actually…I did leave.

I moved to Australia after marrying my lovely Australian wife a few years back. I have lived here for several years now and will add Australian citizenship to my citizenship list early next year (which will give me dual citizenship). I moved here back in '06 when Bush was still strutting around like Mussolini. As soon as I left American airspace, Bush's brutal "Presidency" had no direct effect on me. However, no matter where I live I remain an American citizen and thus exercise my right to vote in every American/Missouri election (I also maintain a residence in Missouri where I am registered to vote). By doing so I contribute my part to our election process. Guess how I voted in '06 and '08? If you guessed straight Democrat ticket, you guessed right. Oh by the way, did I mention they have socialized medicine here in Australia? Its fantastic. I love it!

As far as what America stands for,…well that all depends on who you ask, eh? I think America historically has stood for justice and freedom…two things that were noticeably absent for the 8 years of Bush's "Presidency." I am proud that President Obama is now restoring America to those long held American traditional beliefs in liberty, democracy, and open government of the People, for the People, and by the People. Now Americans everywhere can finally hold their heads high again.

      • Sam Deakins says:

How 'bout those lovely Aussie Muslims? And I suppose the Bill Clinton years were highpoints of "justice and freedom."? Things like stained blue dresses, bombed embassies, bombed baracks, bombed ships, bombed WTC, Waco, OKC, Elian Gonzales…little things like that which defined the last GREAT Democrat. It was great..standing down, right. Hope you feel better now, and yes your delusions are manifesting.

      • razorsedge says:

I can see you truly "don't get it". You must not have paid very close attention in your American History class. Our constitution was designed to keep the government from getting too big and having too much power. It was set up to have "checks and balances" so that the people weren't put in a position to be "forced – coerced" into anything that resembles that. What you say is good (in regard to the one issue of socialized medicine – well that goes against our basic beliefs and principles. You cannot argue that point. Why do you think America has the best health care providers in the world? Why do you think people want to come here when they are really sick? If we socialize our medicine we will see a decline in care. It won't happen right away. And please, don't compare what will happen here to what is going on with socialized medicine in countries with much smaller populations and in countries where people aren't used to getting or having access to very good doctors and specialists. . It will not be the same when it happens here. Oh, and by the way we have Medicaid and Medicare that needs to be fixed. That is a program for those less fortunate. Our Government needs to fix the programs we have not trash our current system.

  9. Sam Deakins says:

Folks, I belive in free speech as much as anything. But, the line is drawn when people like news_across using it to insult folks not inform them. If he wishes to spew the gross and demeaning innuendo that he does not only shud he be banned but, waterboarded as well. Now that's free speech without wallowing with the swine.

  10. news_across says:

Well I see a few of the neocons now have their feathers ruffled…and all due to an editorial opinion I shared with them. What do these 3 comments tell you about these neocons folks? They certainly don't seem to have changed much since the days when they, under GW Bush, were busy cheering on the destruction of the Constitution and your Constitutional rights. The teabaggers are so transparent.

  11. Sam Deakins says:

The Aussies may not care what religion you are but, those Muslims pretty much do. They will be burning the vehicles in the street and battening down their enclaves just like in Europe and mother Britain. Make sure you wear proper attire on the beach, bloke.

  12. news_across says:

Well Sam I haven't seen any Muslims burning anything lately…but ya know Sam, if things get hot, I would be happy to exercise my right as an American, grab my wife, and move back to the States. Of course it would have to get awfully bad before I would leave this beautiful and wonderful Nation. I did really enjoy that video though Sam. That was good. The Aussies do have a great sense of humor.

Oh hey Sam,…just because you have been crying about my avatar so much, I posted my real photo.
