Do we really want POTUS to dictate this candidate for SCOTUS and vetted through COTUS? America our employees are forsaking us for their own benefits, status, money and power. It is time for all branches of the government to be held accountable to higher standards and reveal their records daily. Take a good hard look at some of those employees and their performance.

Tea Parties From Across America File an Important Release
United States of America, June 8 2009. Tea Parties from Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Minnesota, Ohio, and Texas will work with their constituents to urge our Senators to vote against the “Cap and Trade” bill that was approved by the House of Representatives on Friday. These states represent over 20% of the reported US population. We will mobilize our national efforts to apply significant pressure to our representatives to support their States and their Constituents as they were elected to do. The Senate vote is expected on July 7.
The House of Representatives violated their own rules by voting on a bill they did not read, by disallowing amendments, by failing to have a printed copy available for voting members, and by bribing their membership to vote against their better judgment and against the wishes of the American public. The Congressional phone lines were overwhelmed on Friday, according to CNN, as a result of the volume of calls. “Ohio representatives report that constituents were against the bill by a measure of 20 to 1 yet some representatives, such as Ohio’s Steve Driehaus (D-01), voted with the party instead of the people. In short, they failed their oath to defend, protect, and represent their State. This is not the way our Founding Fathers intended it.” said Harald Zieger of the Cincinnati Tea Party
The Cincinnati, Orlando, and Greater Houston tea parties will organize its own supporters and reach out to tea parties around the country to organize efforts to call local representatives and all undecided Senators nationally. “Our goal is to exceed 10,000 calls, says Felicia Cravens of the Greater Houston Tea Party Society, but I believe our now small grassroots effort will grow exponentially over the next few weeks. We expect to meet and exceed our national target.” “We can and will make our voices heard. Friday’s slim margin in the House [219 to 212] is evidence of that as is the two-plus million people at Tea Parties across this nation” echoed Suki Carder of the Orlando Tea Party.

I know that I cannot vote for each and every one of our Representatives because I am not in their Districts, but I will be helping to campaign against our Kansas ones (even not in my district) who voted for this bill.

This energy bill was over 1300 pages long with approximately 300 pages added early the morning of the vote. Again, NO ONE there had a chance to read that bill in its entirety.
Have all who voted yes on this bill had a do-it-yourself lobotomy?
The moment of silence in congress, instead of being for a recently deceased popular celebrity, should have been for the American people, our way of life, and our Constitution…followed with a Requiem Mass.

I am from MI, the worst economic state in the country besides CA. Our unenmployement is at 14.3 percent, our auto companies are gov’t run, our governor wants to continue to raise taxes, even now, and now this.
How much can my state take and handle?
We cannot afford these additional high taxes.
This bill has nothing to do with energy, but is solely a way to tax ALL of us so that Obama can fund his Health bill.

You were very vocally admonished by your constituents at a Townhall Meeting on Monday, June 23 in Setauket to vote no on Cap & Trade because it would devastate the economy, but especially the farmers and fisherman you represent.

But, you chose, instead to listen to the Hedge Fund manager (also from Setauket) who funds your campaign. Is it a coincidence that he also funds Nancy Pelosi? His name is James H Simons and his hedge fund is highly secretive.
What about transparency Mr. Bishop?
What about my granddaughter?
Are you going to feed her?
Are you going to make sure her parents have jobs?
Are you going to take the debt off of her little back?
NO, you are going to make Mr. Simons an even wealthier man at my expense. At my granddaughter’s expense. You and your green initiative. Vic Snyder of Arkansas is an embarrassment to his Constituents and fellow United States House Representatives from Arkansas. My own district’s Congressman. I am sure he will be looking for new work with the next election’s results.
For the record view his recent vote on “Cap and Trade” Bill or should I correct it to “Clap On Parade” Bill, because the U.S.A. just got ….. well you know…. was a YEA! Congressman Snyder, YOU’RE FIRED!
He presumes to boldly defy his constituents. It’s not like he didn’t know what (“We the People”) his employers’ expectations were regarding his job performance. Here’s is a brief summary of just my attempts to reach him.
1-Phone call to his local office this very morning. I spoke with the girl there, and asked her his position on Cap & Trade. She answered, “He hasn’t one”? I said, “Look, he works for us, we don’t work for him. “We the People” want an answer, we are tired of our money being spent. Also he won’t have a job next election if he votes for it, which means you won’t a have a job either. Somebody else can lose their jobs now. We have a right to know.” I then asked her when the vote was coming about and she said noon. I gave her all my contact information too, because I, unlike our officials, don’t hide.
2-After the call & I hit his direct link on his site, my confirmation of my note received after entry-
