American Majority Training: Effective Activism!

By American Majority

Greetings fellow Patriots!

My Name is Tom Freeman, I work for an organization called American Majority, www.americanmajority.org

American Majority Incorporated is a non-profit, non-partisan political training institute whose mission is to train and equip a national network of leadership committed to individual freedom through limited government and the free market. Advocating true federalism, American Majority believes that national change begins at the state and local level. Toward that end, American Majority will build a national network of leaders and grassroots advocates who aspire to increase freedom for individuals and freedom and in the marketplace.

After the massive tea party grassroots movement throughout the country we created the website www.aftertheteaparty.com . We did this because we knew it was one thing to protest on tax day but we needed to become implementers of freedom and liberty from the ground up!

Our organization is going to be in numerous states across the country hosting activist and candidate trainings. Please check out our events page (or the bottom of our home page) on our website and register online today for a training near you!

I am going to be in Iowa on June 20th, and hope to see some of you there. That training will be in Des Moines, you can register here: http://americanmajority.org/news-and-views/news/366-activist-training-in-des-moines-june-20

Please contact me directly with more questions, concerns, or comments.

"GOP establishment stays away from latest Tea Parties"

http://rawstory.com/08/news/2009/07/04/gop-establ...

It would seem any significant interest in the "Support the Wall Street Bankers" movement we call the "Tea-Party" protest has waned significantly…even the Republican Leadership is keeping its distance.

news across,

I know I've said something about this very issue to you before. Every issue for you seems to be related to Republican this and Republican that. Just to educate you a little, the Republicans and not much different than the Democrats right now. Both are progressive and both are corrupt. The Conservative American movement is about bringing our politics (all parties) back to the base of the Constitution. Keep spinning this fact every way you wish but it is still the basis of the uprising of Americans all across the country.

912,

Please understand that in no way do I doubt your sincerity. If I have come across a such then let me set the record straight.

I do understand that you and many other conservatives are genuinely concerned about the economic and political state of our Nation right now. I also agree that both the Democrats and the Republican Parties are a huge disappointment to almost everyone…short of the Wall Street bankers and the leadership of both Parties in Congress…and both Parties are neck deep in causing our current problems. I would also like to point out that both the conservatives and the liberals have a lot of good ideas to lend to our mutual task of saving our Nation. My only point in my previous comment is to demonstrate that while good conservative citizens of our Nation may believe that they are acting only out of their sincere desires and concerns, they are in fact being used by the rich, fat-cat Wall Street bankers and the Republican Party in the same way that Obama and the Democrats mislead and used those of us on the left.

news across,

I can agree with you on that.

I've seen a big push from the GOP to take hold of this grass roots movement and yet there are many respectful Tea Parties and 912 Groups who have managed to push them away while letting them know this is not about a party. Instead, it's about the people that the politicians of both parties have taken advantage of to build their riches and the riches of those helping them get elected.

I can use many examples of this from both parties. I'm going to use the Cap & Tax Bill since it is current. This bill has little to do with environmental conservation and has more to do with building wealth amongst a few powerful people. I am as concerned about the environment as most Conservative Americans are, but there are smart ways to go about it and killing jobs is not one of those ways. If you look at poor areas and the trash laying around and such, you will gather exactly what I am talking about. With lost wealth comes a completely environmental unfriendly environment.

Project 2012 needs you! We promote the liberty message nationwide, and will provide resources, logistical support, and training for 150 or more youth candidates for local office in 2012. Every election year after, hundreds of young liberty candidates will take local office, then state office, and eventually national office.
