The American People have Something to Say to Congress about Cap and Trade Passing
ByToday the Congress of the United States of America passed a devastating bill that will have a devastatingly negative effect on the American economy, which will make America less competitive in the World environment. Over the past few days people have bombarded the phone lines in Washington, D.C., urging their Representatives to vote no on the Cap and Trade Bill. I was one of them.
Most of us, who made these phone calls, made a promise to our Reps. that if they vote in favor of this Bill, we would hold them accountable for their choice to play into the hands of special interest instead of listening to their constituents. Apparently YOU did not hear us. Or, maybe you just don’t give a DAMN what we have to say. By choosing to constantly deny us our right for our voices to be heard, you have made a choice to no longer represent We The People. I promised the Representatives in Iowa that I would make it my mission to attack them in every way I could if they voted yes on the Cap and Trade Bill.

Do you get the point? Just in case you didn’t, let me clarify. If you voted for this Cap and Trade Bill, against the best interests of America, we are coming after you to make sure you find the unemployment line just like so many good Americans have because of your decisions to cater to your special interest bedfellows.

I know that I cannot vote for each and every one of our Representatives because am not in their District, but I will be helping to campaign against our Kansa ones (even not in my district) who voted for this bill. “You fooled us once, shame on you. You fooled us twice, shame on us.” Don’t people understand that they are systematically imposing their wills on us and taking away our rights one by one….and at break-neck speed, too. Well, I am mad as hell…and am not gonna take it anymore!!!! Must we reach the stage where we have to fill the streets as the Iranians did? Why aren’t more of us that angry? This energy bill was over 1300 pages long with approx. 300 pages added early this morning. Again, NO ONE there had a chance to read that bill in its entirety. Have all who voted yes on this bill had a do-it-yourself lobotomy? The moment of silence in congress, instead of being for a recently deceased popular celebrity, should have been for the American people, our way of life, and our Constitution…followed with a Requiem Mass.

Dear Members of Congress,
I know that each and everyone of you worked tirelessy to see that your point was received by the American People. Those in favor of Cap and Trade, worked especially hard to see that real and accurate information was relayed to the public. This way they could make an educated and accurate assesment of the benefits of Cap and Trade. Now elections are coming up next year and you can be sure I will be voting for EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU! (now I’m in the polling booth and you have NO SAY what lever I pull. I promised to vote for you and you’re sure I will do what I said I would….AND I WILL…behind this closed curtain I am going to VOTE for EACH and Everyone of you to be FIRED! It doesn’t matter what I say, or what YOU THINK I SAID. Some guy promised me a job if I vote for him, so I will! This is how it’s done in DC right?)

Thanks to all the Texas Congressmen and Women who Voted NO! Thanks for truly representing “the people of Texas”. I would like to mention that the representative from Texas that voted for this was SHEILA JACKSON LEE, I SINCERELY HOPE THE PEOPLE IN HOUSTON WILL GET HER OUT OF THERE! THINK ABOUT IT, HOUSTON IS ONE CITY THAT WILL BE HURT VERY MUCH BY THIS IF IT PASSES IN THE SENATE – WHAT A LOSER. COME ON HOUSTON – GET HER OUT OF THERE!
You know if this passes it will ensure their health care plan will have funding – yeah, that is what they plan to do with the money they get from this. Houston will be hurt yet again since they have one of the finest medical centers in the world. Houston people get her out!

MY rep had every opportunity to read the stupid bill….he co sponsored the dang thing. Of course, no one from Mass would vote against it, even though they were called, emailed and written to repeatedly. These jerks do not listen to us. EVER. Fire them all!

Luckily, none of my reps in or near my district voted for it. They’re all Repubs and know what kind of wrath would have fallen upon them had they come back to the Tampa area having voted for it. But, I am committed to actively campaigning on my blog against those who voted for it – reps and dems.

I will be sending my rep Mike Michaud (D-ME) a pinkslip (www.yourefired.org) on July 3. With it, I am sending a letter informing him I will be ACTIVELY campaigning for his defeat in 2010.
I’m also sending pink slips to my senators, as well as the President. All will receive a copy of the Constitution, as part of my explanation of why I’ll be doing all I can to oppose and disrupt their plans for the destruction of America.
