Vic Snyder of Arkansas an Embarrassment to his Constituents

By Bobbi85710
The Joker

The Joker's in Congress

Vic Snyder of Arkansas is an embarrassment to his Constituents and fellow United States House Representatives from Arkansas. My own district’s Congressman. I am sure he will be looking for new work with the next election’s results.

For the record view his recent vote on “Cap and Trade” Bill or should I correct it to “Clap On Parade” Bill, because the U.S.A. just got ….. well you know…. was a YEA! Congressman Snyder, YOU’RE FIRED!

He presumes to boldly defy his constituents. It’s not like he didn’t know what (“We the People”) his employers’ expectations were regarding his job performance. Here’s is a brief summary of just my attempts to reach him.

1-Phone call to his local office this very morning. I spoke with the girl there, and asked her his position on Cap & Trade. She answered, “He hasn’t one”? I said, “Look, he works for us, we don’t work for him. “We the People” want an answer, we are tired of our money being spent. Also he won’t have a job next election if he votes for it, which means you won’t a have a job either. Somebody else can lose their jobs now. We have a right to know.” I then asked her when the vote was coming about and she said noon. I gave her all my contact information too, because I, unlike our officials, don’t hide.

2-After the call & I hit his direct link on his site, my confirmation of my note received after entry-
Thank you for contacting Congressman Snyder.
Name: Mrs. Bobbi …
City: Benton
State: AR
Issue: Other
Your message:
I contacted the Benton office by phone earlier. Just so there’s no missing information or non-awareness, for your perusal, my blog:
http://bentonteaparty.ning.com/profiles/blogs/i-contacted-vic-snyders-office
I am also tweeting on twitter.
I also will be reviewing on the site I normally write articles for: http://www.the-912-project.com/

3-What did I receive as an answer 2 identical canned response emails, and a slap in the face with a positive vote on the bill. By the way, I know why they are called bills. It’s always what the taxpayers have coming due!!!

Canned response:

Next thought for those congressmen and congresswomen, from around America, that failed their constituents in their districts…….. find a GM or Chrysler Dealer that was closed due to Congressional action/inaction and solicit and support them for your next candidate. They will already have a support team in place. “We the People” are proactive!

I have called all three upstanding U.S. House of Representative Offices and thanked them. I provided two offices with this site link.

3 Heroes!

2

Congress Boozman always has my sincere thank yous. In most sitiuations he tries to vote for what “We the People” want. He will continue to have my support in all upcoming elections. As for Snyder when I heard he was the Aonly Arkansas Rep that voted yeah, I tried to email but he will not accept mail from anyone not n his district.

3

Yes, Donna, they seem to put extra perimeters to block out other Arkansans not of their district. Hmm? I love the phone call method as well as http://www.congress.org/

btw it’s always “hint..hint” great to write a blog or submit an article here to the administrator :)

In case you missed it, Vic Snyder will have an opponent in 2010. I will be running for his seat. Please visit my website http://www.whoisdavidmeeks.com to find out more about me.

Yes, I am a conservative who will stand on values and principles.

Here to Serve!
David

Looks like there's a solution to the above mentioned problem of Vic Snyder………..
Rock on David http://www.whoisdavidmeeks.com/

Bobbie,

I checked this Meeks character out. His stand on the issues are almost identical to the Bush Republicans.

I sent out some emails to my kin in Arkansas who live in his district alerting them to this Bush like fellow. So at least now they will know who NOT to vote for. You claim you conservatives want something different than the Bush Republicans. You claim you are independents. Then you advice us to support Bush Republicans. That is the last thing We the People want.

7

I'm for voting out any Congressman or Senator that would vote for this Cap and Tax Bill. Rep Synder is out of touch with the people of Arkansas and should be replaced. Obviously he thinks he is above all of that and you will forget the harm he has done. What did Pelosi promise him? Since I'm not a resident of Arkansas anymore, I can't legally vote, but I can talk to my relatives and friends that are voters to get rid of Vic.

8

I've posted video footage of trying to reach Vic Snyder. It looks like Snyder believes he can vote liberal and get away with it. Snyder hopes that the media and liberal activist like news across will cover for him in 2010.

news across- You never met David Meeks. Your a liberal activist who came across this message board and then pretended to be a conservative. On taxes, military, the unborn, and marriage, We the People actually agree with Bush. On spending, illegal immigration, and government spending, Meeks is opposed to Bush. His issues link is right here:

Your not fooling anybody here, go back to Daily Kos or wherever place you came from.

Mrs. Bobbi ***edited for privacy****

Dear Mrs. Miller:

Thank you for contacting me regarding health care reform. I appreciate hearing from you.

I know there are many Americans who are pleased with their current health care plan and do not want it changed. Unfortunately our health care system is changing for all of us. Insurance premiums have increased three times the rate of wages from 2000 to 2007. According to a study by the Commonwealth Fund, a private foundation that works toward an improved health system, since 2000: wages have increased 24%, out-of-pocket expenses have increased 64%, private insurance premiums have increased over 90%, and small business premiums have increased 113%. The aim of health care reform should be to improve the quality of health care for everyone, not just the uninsured. Health insurance reform needs to help the uninsured, the underinsured, and those individuals who are insured and are satisfied with their current plan.

There are three challenges in health care reform: coverage, cost, and quality. According to the US Census Bureau, approximately 46 million individuals are uninsured. Of those approximately 46 million, 8.1 million are children under the age of 18. Over 20% of the uninsured live below the poverty line and nearly 30% live in rural areas. Additionally, 16% of our GDP is spent on insurance. We are not going to solve our country's long-term fiscal issues without fixing the current health system.

The underlying framework of the House bill consists of four key elements. Reform must ensure that no American is denied access to health care because of pre-existing conditions nor should any American worry about rescission of their insurance. All eligible Americans must participate in the system. Recognizing that not everyone is going to be able to afford health insurance, subsidies on a sliding scale should be provided for small businesses and individuals. Effective health care reform should include a market-based system where people are able to look at and compare all of the different insurance plans available in their states and regions, as currently laid out in the health insurance exchange.

I will not support a health care bill that is not fully paid for and deficit neutral. The United States currently spends $2.6 trillion annually on health care. The Congressional Budget Office projects this bill to cost $1 trillion over 10 years; therefore, the objective of Congress is to find $100 billion annually in savings from the $2.6 trillion we already spend annually on health care. Some of these savings, for example, can be found by improving health information technologies, reducing preventable hospital readmissions, and promoting more primary care – all provisions currently included in the House bill.

I will not support any bill that: mandates participation in a public option if the bill includes one; changes the federal law currently in place regarding abortion; supports federal subsidies to illegal immigrants; or rations care.

Your comments have been helpful as this debate continues in Congress. There is more work to be done in both the House and the Senate but I am hopeful we will produce a health care plan supported by the great majority of the American people. Thank you once again for contacting me. I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

Sincerely
Vic Snyder
Member of Congress

Just another talking head who will soon be replaced by a real American!

13

Hell you would vote for Satan if he was a union member.

14

Did you throw up in your mouth a little Bobbi?
Maybe he and Arlen can go spend a weekend with Bawney.

15

Yup, same dribble & talking points. Once they get to DC they lose their minds!

16

Changes current federal law concerning abortion? So duh…….guess what it will pay for. Isn't anyone else tired of paying for something that can be prevented by keeping it in your pants?!?!?!
