One Bad Apple in Health Scare Keeps the Doctor Away…from You

One Bad Apple in Health Scare Keeps the Doctor Away…from You

Yes, I am talking about the dirty little secret of the Nationalization of Health Care, or should I say Socialization of Health Care Bill. The description of every – Hurry up bill – declaring not, has created more taxes for every American citizen. This one promises not only to soak the American Public for 3 TRILLION dollars, but to disable the confidential bond between doctor and patient, and allows the government to become a licensed GOD in deciding life and death.

A Bad Apple

A bad apple called National Health Care

Does this bad apple remind you of that “Hope and Change” concept that has rotted away the American dream and day to day lifestyle?

If the Health Scare Bill Passes…..

I can see many future problems, not just like the horror stories relayed by the UK or Canada, but real shortcuts occurring.

Will we revert to midwives for the delivery of babies to avoid government hospitalization. Who will choose when enough babies have been born and initiate “corrective action”?

Will we have an ambulance response in a rapid fashion? What will the government decide is an ample response time?

Will we have to find a Rabbi for circumcisions? Circumcisions not a priority or not allowed on a government’s doctor’s list of approved operations?

Will medicines be prepared properly? Who will educate doctors on new medicines or interactions, Doc Gov?

How long will a visit to the emergency room take? No longer triage, but cattle herd care with come back later attitude?

If your child needs an immunization, when will their day be, by ID#

When do yearly benefits exceed what the government deems is your necessary entitlement?

Ingrown toenail? You have Diabetes also? hmm? See you in two months?

Lump in breast, low priority, government edict: the size of a walnut or more will get you seen?

What about cosmetic surgery, where will that fall or fail. What will be the outcome with self-serving hoaxes and gimmicks? Who will let one know when enough is too much? Hollywood think about it?

What age does preservation of life end? Who decides on neglected action?

What happens if the government makes a choice that accidentally or purposely creates a lifetime disability or death? What is the recourse?

How about the Executive Branch, Legislative Branch, and the Judicial Branch get together, try it out over the next 3 1/2 years or so, and get back to the American Public on this? Let’s call it the National Health Care Experiment In Action. It’s New, it’s Progressive and isn’t this verbiage to your liking?

I think 2 doctors, 2 nurses, and 1 assigned pharmacy over in Bethesda Maryland should be put in place for all these government employees and their assistants. “We the People” believe this would be a good case study and a fine example to show just how “on board” the government is. I mean “We the People” are your bosses.

Now just because a Senator lives in another state some parts of the year doesn’t mean he/she should be neglected. Oh, no. You get on a plane or drive in your car with your sick child, wife, or husband right to Washington DC on your own dime and see how it works out. Wait to be seen by one of those two doctors after consulting with your nurse, then go to your assigned pharmacy to pick up the medicine. Oh surgery is required…oh sorry, it’s going to be several months before your doctor has passed the training on brain aneurysms and treatment. Go on home, we’ll call you when we have everything approved.

Now since the government leads the people by example, I’m sure this won’t interfere with your opinion of this bill. But get right back to “We the People” because we’re just dying to know.

We have a tendency in America to argue for or against a concept based on our own personal philosophy or view of the world, what advances our personal interests, or the interests of our party, family, organization, or region. Perhaps viewing the issue from a management or systemic perspective might result in innovative approaches to the issue. The American national mindset, citizen philosophy, lack of citizen motivation to be proactively healthy, and governance model make the socialization of health care in America very problematic, particularly at this point in time. A country needs to know its limitations.
