ACORN continues to be shielded by Liberals

By

ACORN continues to be shielded by Liberals even after allegations of illegal conduct by the House Oversight Committee. So much protection is being offered by a President who use to be employed by this same group.

Corruption by ACORN and political appointees

Corruption by ACORN and political appointees

A report released earlier today by The Hills Blog Briefing Room, House GOP report calls ACORN ‘criminal enterprise’, stated that the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee found that ACORN has deliberately engaged in systemic fraud along with accusations of embezzlements, investment fraud, cover-ups, and conspiracy to defraud the United States by using taxpayer funds for partisan activities.

Another report from the press secretary of Iowa Congressman Steve King reads:

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Steve King today introduced an amendment to the Labor-HHS Appropriations Bill prohibiting any taxpayer money in the bill from going to ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) or any of its 174 affiliates. Liberals on the House Rules Committee ruled King’s amendment out of order. This is the seventh amendment addressing ACORN liberals have denied King from offering. King has previously introduced amendments to keep ACORN from receiving taxpayer money and to bar ACORN from helping with the 2010 census.

“John Conyers is right: the ‘powers that be’ in this Congress will do all they can to protect ACORN,” King said. “ACORN is corroding the integrity of our electoral process by attacking the sanctity of the ballot box and using taxpayer dollars to do so, and Nancy Pelosi and Democrats on Capitol Hill are complicit in ACORN’s cover-up. Shielding ACORN from oversight ensures that this liberal get-out-the-vote machine will continue its shady practices. It is time for every member of this Congress to go on record on taxpayer funding for ACORN.”

About ACORN:

- In June, the Washington Times reported that House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers “backed off his plan to investigate wrong doing by the liberal activist group ACORN, saying ‘powers that be’ put the kibosh on the idea.”

- ACORN is under investigation in at least 14 states.

- ACORN as an entity was charged with voter fraud in Nevada.

- ACORN has admitted to over 400,000 fraudulent voter registrations in the 2008 election cycle.

- ACORN has received $53 million in taxpayer dollars since 1994.

- ACORN is eligible to receive $8.5 billion more in federal tax dollars.

- ACORN played a role in the mortgage meltdown by pressuring banks to make bad loans.

- ACORN and its affiliates all use the same accounting firm and same mailing address in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Why would Democrats (Liberals) continue to surround themselves with continued illegal activities by groups such as ACORN? So many questions have been raised about political appointies for this administration and their tax issues along with various other high levels of corruption. It’s about time these individuals are brought to a screeching stop and taught who they have volunteered to work for.

Thank you Congressman King for having some spine!
I sure would like to know the names of the 'powers that be' who put the kiobosh on John Conyers bill to Investigate ACORN. They are being investigates in 14 states for racketeering and voter fraud. This is the organization that got Obama elected Senator to Chicago, IL – where racketeering was invented!!

    NAMES!! I WANT NAMES!!

Yes, Barry wants to be King of the world now. The way of the wicked is darkness, he knows not where he stumbles. Conyers can't find his butt with both hands. They really are just punks. Soros is a bitter old man, "Merry Christman, Mr. Potter".

  4. tae949 says:

I heard that George soros was kicked out of France. I don't know if it is true, but if it is ,he should be kicked out of here. If he don't like this country LEAVE!!!!

    • I found where Soros was convicted of insider-trading in France. I did not research far enough to find if he was actually kicked out of there. It's really sad when someone hates the very system that they have managed to get rich from and yet it seems like America is full of such people. And yet there are millions of Americans who have been fooled by these people. Take Al Gore as one of the strong examples, supporting this concept. He is using Global Warming as a way to build his riches, even if it is a lie.

  5. tae949 says:

There should be gone after and never get their hands on $8.5b
of our taxes. How did Al Gore get $539m to start a new
car company, not here butt in Finland. The car is going to cost $80,000 to
$90,000. Who can afford this thing. Why don’t he build them here and put
Americans to work. Is our government into loaning
money to people to start companys now. I’m sick of it.

  6. tae949 says:

I know,Al Gore is trading in his private jet for the car.
He is making millions scaring everyone on global warming.Every 100 years
someone says the world is going to end. This man of the century is Al Gore.

How does mr creator of the internet want to explain the current cooling trend. I bet it isn't thos pesky sun spots or any other natural occurence. It is probably the icebergs cooling off the ocean as they fall in. This is just one giant slushy!
And he wants us all to work in his 7-11, since that's the jobs he and barry will have to give out after they are done destroying business. Hey, how many of ya' are lining up for them new fiat models that are gonna be the next new thing. There will be lots of mechanic jobs at the dealerships. They are such great cars, glad we gave them chrysler.
