Obamacare Health Care Speech Misses Mark – Targets All Taxpaying America

Obamacare Health Care Speech Misses Mark – Targets All Taxpaying America

When you’re shaky on your feet, and still haven’t quite figured the whole process out, making a bigger target does not make the outcome any better. In fact the whole process can totally fail.

Some interesting quotes:

“Now, six months ago, I took office amid the worst recession in half a century. We were losing an average of 700,000 jobs per month, and our financial system was on the verge of collapse.”

**Shaky on feet. Still on blame mode but facts indicate the condition has accelerated under his own term.

1999-2008 http://data.bls.gov/PDQ/servlet/SurveyOutputServlet?series_id=LNS14000000

“It’s an economy that simply wasn’t ready to compete in the 21st century, one where we’ve been slow to invest in clean-energy technologies that have created new jobs and industries in other countries, where we’ve watched our graduation rates lag behind too much of the world, and where we spend much more on health care than any other nation, but aren’t any healthier for it.”

**Hasn’t quite figured out the process and priorities. No facts to support his statement.

“I’ve also pledged that health insurance reform will not add to our deficit over the next decade, and I mean it. In the past eight years, we saw the enactment of two tax cuts — primarily for the wealthiest Americans — and a Medicare prescription program, none of which were paid for. That’s partly why I inherited a $1.3 trillion deficit.”

**Shaky on feet. Still on blame mode but facts indicate the condition has accelerated under his own term.
The fact is July 13th the USA passed the trillion deficit mark-

“Already we’ve estimated that two-thirds of the cost of reform can be paid for by reallocating money that is simply being wasted in federal health care programs. This includes over $100 billion of unwarranted subsidies that go to insurance companies as part of Medicare, subsidies that do nothing to improve care for our seniors. And I’m pleased that Congress has already embraced these proposals.”

**Hasn’t quite figured out the process and priorities. Curiously obtuse.

“I understand how easy it is for this town to become consumed in the game of politics, to turn every issue into a running tally of who’s up and who’s down. I’ve heard that one Republican strategist told his party that, even though they may want to compromise, it’s better politics to “go for the kill.” Another Republican senator said that defeating health reform is about “breaking” me.
So let me be clear: This isn’t about me. I have great health insurance, and so does every member of Congress.”

**And there’s the bigger target. We have what we want, but we want you to use the health care that’s not so great, because even we won’t use it-

So let’s make it mandatory for the entire Government to use it. A new clause should be on the first page. That Health Care Bill will die a slow death. Just these small bites from the speech, show the failure of the government’s process or progress. To read the entire transcript is a hoot, and to watch the video is even more laughable. All the world’s a stage! Obamacare is a Fail!

BO is the most egotistical A** I've EVER heard. He says:"I have great Health Insurance & so does every member of Congress." Well-tra-la-la-aren't you the lucky one Obama? If your healthcare reform plan is SO WONDERFUL & you are DETERMINED to cram it down the American people's throats-here's an idea: YOU,YOUR FAMILY & EVERY MEMBER OF CONGRESS use that same plan you are demanding we use. Sound good? Give the American people ONE good reason why you shouldn't have to use this new & improved health care. I don't know how you can look yourself in the mirror everyday KNOWING that you are destroying the best nation on earth on so many levels. YOU ARE A DISGRACE.
