Michael Norbury with Bring Home The Politicians Discusses Health Care
Posted by: | CommentsIn this video, Michael Norbury with Bring Home The Politicians, discusses the effects of the proposed health care reform that has received a great deal of heated debate in town hall meetings around the country.
Michael explains the serious conditions his Mother has been dealing with for years and the negative effects that a nationalized health care program would have on the treatments his Mom has received.
Mr. Norbury also explains his plan to bring home the politicians and just how this will help you and your lawmakers to have a closer relationship to assure that they understand what their constituents need instead of worrying more about what special interest needs are.

More Government Indoctrinating of our Children to Help with 2010 Census
Posted by: | CommentsApparently the government has taken to the schools and Sesame Street to indoctrinate our school children on the importance of filling out the new government’s extended census form.
Michelle Malkin reports on an article written in USA Today:
Anyone tempted to ignore the 2010 Census will have a tough time doing it — especially if they have kids in school.
The government has launched Census in Schools, an all-out campaign targeting superintendents, principals, teachers, students and, indirectly, parents, as schools open across the nation this month and next. The message: The Census is coming and here’s why everyone should care.
The goal is to send posters, teaching guides, maps and lesson plans to every school in the nation, Puerto Rico and U.S. island territories to encourage everyone to participate in the national count. The materials will land in more than 118,000 schools and reach 56 million students.
“It’s great to reach the children because children are such strong voices in their homes,” says Renee Jefferson-Copeland, chief of the Census schools program. “In households that are linguistically isolated, they can express the information to their parents.”
…Between January and March, the Census Bureau will help plan a week of Census education in schools. During Census Week, teachers will devote 15 minutes every day for five days to the topic by discussing such things as civic participation, confidentiality or geography.
Congressman Brian Baird of Washington Confronted at Town Hall Meeting
Posted by: | CommentsAt a recent town hall meeting held on August 18, 2009, Congressman Brian Baird is confronted by an upset Marine Veteran.
Washington’s 3rd district Congressman Brian Baird was confronted by a concerned constituent at a recent town hall meeting. David Hedrick, a Marine Corp. Vet was one of 38 people called at random from the audience, which was said to have started at nearly 3,000 in attendance. Even though David didn’t figure his chances were too good at being selected to question the Congressman, he quickly scratched down what he wanted to say on a borrowed piece of paper and used a pen he borrowed from someone else in the audience. I guess this would have been his planned talking points of the right wing conspiracy.
Watch and listen to the video below as David Hedrick makes several strong statements to Rep. Baird and receives a standing ovation in response.

When the Candyman Cant, The Government Can
Posted by: | CommentsIn a new Tim Hawkins video we find out why the Government Can when the Candyman can’t.
This parody song begins with, “Who can take your money… with a twinkle in their eye… take it all away and give it to some other guy? The government… The government can.”
And, “Who can tax the sunrise?” Guess who!
I’m thinking that this could very well be the DNC’s new theme song.
All kidding aside. This Tim Hawkins parody song and video will give you a good laugh. Listen carefully to the lyrics, because there is so much truth in them.

They are moving at the wrong speeds in my opinion.
Why can’t this clock slow down?
Why can’t this clock speed up?

UFCW Union Boycotts Whole Foods while Conservative America Builds Increased Business
Posted by: | CommentsOver the past week the Whole Foods company has fallen under heavy attack by President Obama supporters after CEO John Mackey stated that he opposes a government takeover of health care, in a Wall Street Journal article.
The UFCW has sense distributed a boycott flyer stating, “TELL WHOLE FOODS: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! IT IS TIME FOR CEO JOHN MACKEY TO GO!”
Michelle Malkin reported in her article, “The union fatcats behind the Whole Foods boycott“, that her whole foods in Colorado Springs, CO appears to be quite busy with people supporting the company. (See quote from Michelle below)
FYI: I stopped by my local Whole Foods in Colorado Springs and picked up some delicious golden raspberries and other treats. The young lady at the checkout counter said business was good — and that several shoppers specifically mentioned coming in to support the company and counter the boycott.
The parking lot and outside cafe were packed.
Apparently the UFCW boycott is not having as much impact as they had hoped it would have. Maybe their loud, but few, crowds don’t have the power they used to before We The People chose to rise up and take this country back.
