End the GREEN Flat Tax

There is an idea currently under consideration in the City of Greensboro, North Carolina requiring all new home builders to plant at least ONE tree on their property.
To me, this seems quite unfair and not for the reason you might think.
Some people simply are not capable of high levels of environmental responsibility and commitment.
It’s fair to say that these people are POOR environmentalists.
And as we’ve all been told repeatedly, it is wrong to expect the POOR (environmentalists) to do their fair share despite the appearance of them being fully able bodied and capable of doing the task at hand.
Not everyone can be Al Gore, but as a result of sheer luck or lottery of life, these RICH (environmentalists) find themselves in a situation where they can do so much more for our planet with their exuberant enthusiasm for “Going GREEN”
Therefore, it only stands to reason that promoting ideas like this GREEN “flat tax” with everyone doing their equal share is nothing short of unjust.
The only fair and compassionate thing to do is to require the RICH (environmentalists) to plant extra trees on their property to accommodate for the entire population.
It works out well given that the highest and mightiest RICH (environmentalists) also tend to be swimming in financial success as a result of their celebrity careers, book revenues, and well timed investments in government funded alternative energies.
This is the only empathetic thing to do and I’m sure that the RICH (environmentalists) will be more than happy to do their part no matter how much is continually taken from them (whoops), I mean asked of them.

Well it would be better if our Nation was the not the only industrialized country in the World to NOT sign Kyoto…if we had done as the free-world had done, we wouldn't need this Cap and Trade act. However, that is the situation we have so this is the next best thing and of course this will easily pass.
