Orlando Tea Party “Mob” Out Organizes DNC’s “Organizing for America”
ByTea Party organizer, Phil Russo, holds a Tea Party to show opposition and to educated people who might be signing petitions to show their support for the proposed National Health Care Reform. This petition drive was put together by Organizing for America and had anticipated 100 people from their group to attend their petition signing event. The press release below tells the tail of just how successful this event turned out to be for a Tea Party Event.

Phil Russo, one of the organizers of the Orlando Tea Party, tonight issued a press release that devastatingly showed the superior organization and grassroots support of tea party opponents of Obamacare compared to the DNC subsidiary Organizing for America.
According to Russo “The Obama Organizing for America team anticipated more than 100 people to pass out petitions at Lake Eola from 10:00AM to 4:00PM EDT today. The stated goal was to collect signatures from people supporting HR3200; the Healthcare Reform Bill. They only had two (2) members show up to get signatures. Instead nearly 100 members of the Orlando Tea Party collected several hundred signatures of citizens against HR 3200. Instead, members of the Orlando TeaParty also passed out literature and answered questions from the population, such as mistruths from Democratic party regarding the extremist mobs at Town Hall meetings nationwide.”
About Organizing for America
Organizing for America, which is funded with money from the DNC and has paid staff and a downtown office was outdone today by a TRUE grassroots movement with NO funding whatsoever. The Orlando Tea Party has no paid staff, no office, and no bank account. Organizing for America, in addition to being well funded by the DNC also has a massive database of volunteers left over from the campaign and yet was still unable to produce more than two (2) volunteers. The fact that the Orlando Tea Party was able to mobilize more than 75 volunteers with no money, staff, or database shows that real, average Americans do not trust President Obama, Democrats in congress or their risky experiment to socialize our healthcare system.
About the Orlando Tea Party
The Orlando Tea Party is a non-partisan grassroots movement made up of people from every political party and all walks of life. The Orlando Tea Party was started by a patriotic group of Central Florida residents to stand up for the principles of Fiscal Responsibility, Limited Government, and Free Markets.
