Van Jones Resigns as "Green Jobs" Czar

President Obama’s “Green Jobs” Czar resigns in the middle of this Labor Day weekend with a resignation letter reading,

“I am resigning my post at the Council on Environmental Quality, effective today.

On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me. They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.

I have been inundated with calls – from across the political spectrum – urging me to “stay and fight.”

But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future.

It has been a great honor to serve my country and my President in this capacity. I thank everyone who has offered support and encouragement. I am proud to have been able to make a contribution to the clean energy future. I will continue to do so, in the months and years ahead.”

In recent months many Americans have come out in opposition against Van Jones and his history of being an anti-American liberties type of activist. This issue is not only about Mr. Jones, but, about the highly unpopular czar takeover by the current administration which is believed by many to be a way of bypassing the standard political process to gain higher levels of control over America. Through a great deal of research many individuals appointed to the various positions by President Obama have a strong history of being supporters of socialism, marxism, and even communism. Van is just one of these czars who stood out through a variety of actions throughout his history of being a political activist.

Later this morning, Howard Dean, called the Van Jones resignation a “Loss for the Country”. Maybe the two of them would be much more at home in Venezuela with their good friend Hugo Chavez and their nationalized health care. I mean, if they really don’t like the freedoms of America, why wouldn’t they go to a place where they already have every socialist idea the two of them could ever hope for. Maybe they won’t move there. Maybe that is just more proof that it really isn’t about the health care issue, nor is it about caring for the people. Maybe it is more about the control they would gain over we the people.
