The rally was the most wonderful congregation of concerned Americans this country could ever imagine. While the count I have heard has been thousands to tens of thousands, it was reported at the rally (and ABC news) there was 1.5 million, which I believe to be most accurate as there was nothing but a sea of people from the Capitol to the Washington monument. Most people I met had never been "activists" before but felt fed-up with the out of control spending and the fact that our congress no longer listens to the average American.
