1979. President Jimmy Carter issued E.O. 12138, creating a National Women’s Business Enterprise Policy and requiring each agency to take affirmative action to support women’s business enterprises.
1979. The Supreme Court ruled in United Steel Workers of America, AFL-CIO v. Weber, 444 U.S. 889 (1979) that race-conscious affirmative action efforts designed to eliminate a conspicuous racial imbalance in an employer’s workforce resulting from past discrimination are permissible if they are temporary and do not violate the rights of white employees.

There is a reason Jimmy Carter had only 1 term in office.

    I did not see Ms. Rice, or any other black leaders who I respect. You can paint the devil white, people with a brain aren't going to go along with his lies etc..
    Once again the tired, tattered,soiled, overused, and wasted race card has once again been flailed around. It is really sad that people who really are screwed over have to see people use an excuse for their own agenda. It's like the person who throws themselves on the floor in the produce aisle in order to sue the supermarket. All they do is cause everyone else pain by their own filthy lech of a life.
