Senate Healthcare Bill Could Cost Families $4,000 More per Year

By Proud American

The latest developments in the proposed healthcare reform bills are showing that an average family of four could see their health care insurance premiums increase as much as $4,000 a year.  This comes out after the insurance industry has been showing a great deal of support for President Obama’s public healthcare plans.

FOX News reports,

“Late Sunday, the industry trade group America’s Health Insurance Plans sent its member companies a new accounting firm study that projects the legislation would add $1,700 a year to the cost of family coverage in 2013, when most of the major provisions in the bill would be in effect.”

The analysis was provided by PricewaterhouseCoopers and stated that an individual’s insurance would increase by $600 more than it would without any legislation being passed. This all comes with the Senate’s announcement of plans to vote for a proposed healthcare bill on Tuesday, that still remains in opposition by the majority of America’s citizens (Latest Numbers 50% Disapprove with only 46% Approving).

Karen Ignagni wrote,

“Several major provisions in the current legislative proposal will cause health care costs to increase far faster and higher than they would under the current system,”

in a memo to insurance company CEOs.

Numbers like this will force more people to drop their private healthcare plans to jump on a nationalized single payer plan as many Liberal lawmakers have openly confessed to wanting as clearly seen in the video displayed below.

With jobs being lost, daily family costs increasing, and a number of other tax increases, who really wants thinks Obamacare will help the majority of citizens in the United States?

Is it just blind support for the President that drives people to support anything he preaches?

People, you need to educate yourselves on the real costs that will come with the passing of all of President Obama’s proposed legislation.  It will affect you and you will have increased taxes no matter what your earning level.
