Senate Finance Committee Due to Vote on Baucus Healthcare Today
ByAmericans all across the nation will be watching as the Senate Finance Committee is due to vote on the proposed Baucus healthcare overhaul, today.
A higher percentage of Americans stand opposed to government proposed healthcare reforms, with 53% opposed and only 42% in favor according to the latest polls from Rasmussen Reports. There will be 13 Democrats and 10 Republicans voting on the Senate Finance Committee’s version of the Bill with 3 of the Democrats currently considered to be on the fence.
Why President Obama was still a candidate, he promised his supporters that those making under $250,000 would NOT see any tax increases. And yet, every healthcare bill proposed by Democrats promises to do just the opposite. Not only will taxes be increased over the next 10 years, but the private healthcare premiums will be increased by estimates of $4,000 per year for an average four member household as released by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Governor Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) states his concerns over this increase in taxes on BigGovernment.com,
“How do the Democrats propose to pay for the rest of the new spending? There are a massive amount of tax increases in the bill, including over $200 billion in tax increases on insurance premiums, new taxes on individuals and employers, and over $120 billion in new taxes on medical device makers and other health care businesses. All of these tax increases concern me, but the latter category does so especially: My state is the home of Medtronic, Boston Scientific, 3M, St. Jude Medical and other medical technology makers that employ 60,000 Minnesotans and save and improve countless lives. Increasing taxes on these businesses would not only be an unwise burden on these employers, but would siphon money otherwise spent on research and development. It would also risk the cost of increased taxes being passed on, directly or indirectly, to those who rely on such devices or who cover their cost.”
The majority of America believes that healthcare reform is needed in a reasonable way. With the normal disconnect you might find with Washington politicians, they have refused the many bipartisan plans that have been proposed with real solutions that would NOT increase taxes. In my opinion, this debate never has been about their concerns about actual healthcare reform. Instead it has been about the control a plan like this would give our government over the people.
These are days when the common American Citizen needs to wake up and become more aware of what their politicians are doing behind their backs and it is up to you, the person reading this, to help them by providing them high quality accurate details that will show them exactly what is happening. Do you really want your government to apply a one size fits all healthcare system that has been proven to fail in other countries that have tried it?
A “Real Doctor”, Dr. Allen Unruh, from South Dakota speaks out on the government’s proposal to act as your God, which might be just what the “Messiah” had on his mind the whole time.

To quote a SC senator, "LIAR". Everyone I know in military, or retired goes to the military all the time for health care. LFPA/SEIU/ACORN are bankrupting the country, and Lawyers are the LAST people we need more of "helping".
Benedict Snowe, pulled down her pants for the money, just like the rest. It is shocking to see the idiocy that has overtaken the same states that originally had the guts to say enough to England. Now, they just hold open their sickening mouths, like little blind birds.

I find it sad that you have chosen to use the 45 million poor Americans number. Mixed in that "Big Lie" are the 20 year old group who have chosen to usually use their money for partying rather than as they would say, "Waste the money on healthcare." That 45 million number also includes the millions of so called "Cheap Labor" illegal immigrants that have decided to come into our Country by choosing to break our laws.
Go ahead and keep spreading those lies or your liberal talking points while we keep fighting hard to educate people with the truth that you have chosen to be too blind to in order to further your Liberal agendas.
