Singer/Songwriter John Thomas Releases We’re Watching You Washington

In late June singer/songwriter John Thomas was so inspired by all the attacks against our American liberties by government officials, that he sat down and wrote a song that he hopes will become another of the many songs played at tea parties across the nation.

While interviewing John, he told me, when he sat down to write this song, that everything just flowed out. He went on to tell me that it flowed so good that the song turned out to be a little on the long side and he had to go through the entire song bit by bit to try to reduce the length of it, only to find that every word in the song had an important meaning. He then decided that all the lyrics needed to stay in place. The next step was to figure out who would sing the song. Even though John is a singer himself, he had someone else in mind that he felt would be perfect for this particular song as he went on to tell me, “I knew Callie would be the perfect voice behind the song” which is now named, “We’re Watching You, Washington!“.

He paid for the time in a recording studio to have the song professionally recorded and then uploaded it to YouTube with hopes the song would become “a rallying cry for tea parties across the nation”.
