When you say that you’re “just getting started” President Obama, you validate that nothing has yet been accomplished. The time for campaigning was over on Election Day, November 4th, 2008. So if it takes nine months to get started, what will month forty eight hold?
The financial status of the United States of America is in reverse and the hopes, of Americans that change would be for the better, have been smashed. When the heat is on, you go on a parade through the country on Air Force 1 leaving a huge carbon footprint. So much for Presidential support with that questionable “climate change”.
I feel like I am watching a horribly twisted version of a millenium age Archie Bunker occurring right in the White House with the amount of whining about change. Please enjoy this video of change that can only be classified as “THE” classic. Mike and Gloria represent the Independents, Republicans and Conservatives constantly drowned out by the Democratic led Congress. Edith in her situation is much like the Speaker of the House and the Leader of the Senate- at the least… angry, and at the very best… flighty. Then finally Archie represents the President that talks to hear himself talk, ignoring everyone around him who offers good ideas, and then wants everyone to change immediately.
It appears that someone’s heart really isn’t into the job, or that other objectives have distracted, or that this is exactly the speed of progressive liberal Democrats.
I monitored the Congress.org site last night and viewed and tweeted many letters from constituents to Senators and Representatives all over the country. The constituents from Hawaii to Iowa to Delaware all appear to be on the same page. Change may be coming, but it’s not the one that’s being touted by the administration.
