Political Correctness Could be Cause of Terror in the Air

By Proud American

Let us take a closer look at the recent failed terror attack and just how political correctness could become the direct cause of potential terror attacks.

Have we been so quick to forget?

Have we been so quick to forget?

By now all of you are fully aware of the failed terrorist attack on the flight destined for Detroit. I’ve seen headlines talking about a thwarted terror plot, when these headlines couldn’t be further from the truth. The simple and politically incorrect fact is this attack failed because the explosive underwear failed. Thankfully, this simple fact has to be the best Christmas present some 300 passengers could ever have received.

Looking back we have seen a number of test flights taken by individuals thought to be Islamic extremists. The actions of individuals on these flights seemed to intentionally draw attention to themselves through the use of highly suspicious behavior, in what I believe to be an attempt to test the reactions of the passengers, the flight crew, and the U.S. security system. I have yet to see any updates on the countless events. However, I do know there has been a tendency for lawsuits to be filed in response to the reactionary actions of the crew and passengers. The use of the U.S. legal system has become one of biggest allies for Islamic extremists. By filing lawsuits, they have found a way to create an environment where political correctness has become their weapon of choice as they carefully plot their next terror attacks.

You might also recall the many issues surrounding the use of profiling and the many legal battles surrounding this issue alone. Airport security has been forced to spend their time inspecting passengers who would in no way produce any level of suspicion, instead of using profiling to look for persons and items which might actually be viewed as a more logical threat.

So where are are the answers for making our airways safer? I’m not sure we will ever completely stop terrorism, but we can prevent many plots by throwing political correctness under the bus and bring back the use of profiling to look for those we already know would most likely to be terrorists. As I hear reports and debates about terror suspects being on watch lists and yet they aren’t being watched. What’s the point of a watch list if there is no watching going on? I can’t help but wonder where is the Department of Homeland Security on all this? Has political correctness become their demon of destruction, too?

With a headline like, “Father of Terror Suspect Warned U.S. About Son“, why would there be a need for a headline like, “Suspect Not a Threat?

You decide if the Department of Homeland Security and this administration is doing enough to stop terrorism in this FOX News poll, “Is Enough Being Done to Protect Us From Terror Attacks?
