Kansas Moves Forward on 10th Amendment Resolution
ByI am receiving great updates from my friends in Kansas, regarding their proposal for a 10th Amendment Resolution in Kansas. Kansas is just one of the many states seeking a 10th Amendment Resolution for state sovereignty to stand firm above any laws passed down by the Federal Government.
January 15th was the 10 Amendment Hearing in Topeka. 400-500 Kansans showed up to support SCR-1615. It was a GOOD day!!!
What’s the next step?
SCR-1615 will be worked (final action) in committee. This is one of the most dangerous times for a bill/resolution. Legislators can change the substance of the legislation & then send it to the floor for a vote.
What can we do NOW?
1) Call or write the committee members encouraging their support & passage of the resolution “AS IS”
2) Call or write the Senate Leadership to encourage passage “AS IS”.
3) Call or write YOUR Senator to contact the committee members & State Leadership to pass it “AS IS”.
Here is the contact information for the committee members:

This is a test … our Senators are waiting to see how serious we are!! It’s is just as important that we are there Wednesday as it was when we filled the testimony room & hall to capacity on January 15th. We need to fill the room & hall once again so they’ll KNOW we’re serious. Don’t forget … wear Orange & I’ll see you there!!!
