Where is America’s Hero?

America needs a hero like never before. Congressional members are retiring in droves, young and old alike. Was it too much to ask that you do the job that you were sent to Washington DC for, while listening to your constituents’ input? Last summer displayed an overpaid pack of cowards in Congress, and now not only are they ducking constituents, they are ducking out permanently. What do you know, that you won’t tell? You were supposed to be the best of your respective state to represent “We the People”… instead you collected a healthy paycheck, pork and bribes, party and privileges and now expect a hefty (let’s see if we can eliminate this waste of money) retirement once again upon the backs of the taxpayers.

A little over a year ago, I asked for one stalwart Senator or Representative to come to the aid of America…. crickets. I didn’t specify a party or a state, but no one stepped up. Not one of you in Congress paid the least attention to one constituent’s concerns let alone listen and respect the boiling kettle that birthed the independent group of Tea Party Members across the country.

What is exciting is that the power is returning to “We the People”, by “We the People” and for “We the People” as candidates are scrutinized and vetted before one vote is cast. Congress has failed to be effective as a whole body, that’s going to change every year until it’s clear of the dead weight. Time to look in the mirror……the hero now is the American voter.
