Radical Immigration Reform Rally Takes Place in Atlanta, GA

By

In the midst of the illegal immigration bill passed recently in Arizona, immigrants decided to attend rallies all across the United States (See embedded video). We have all heard all the people speaking for and against the bill. Many of those who have chosen to support the passing of the Arizona bill have actually chosen to read the bill to understand the language within it. While those opposing it choose to just take someone’s word that the bill will give police an open ticket for racial profiling, when the language actually carefully worded in a way to prevent racial profiling from taking place.

Those attending the rally in Atlanta did not choose to say the Pledge of Allegiance, nor did they sing the National Anthem, while the Tea Party Events all across the country did both with great pride.

While I cannot verify this, it is safe to assume that many participants of Tea Party Rally’s were legal citizens of the United States of America. On the other hand, it is fairly safe to say that there were a large number of illegal immigrants attending the Immigration Reform Rally in Atlanta and many other cities across the nation.

While the Tea Party’s have been accused of including mostly white people, which hasn’t always been true. On the other hand the Immigration Reform Rally featured mostly hispanic people. I’m not one to make any claim that either one is racist in any way. In fact, I know the Tea Party events have fought hard to keep racism away from their events. It is my intention to point out the obvious just in case the main stream media chooses to ignore these facts.

It is well worth noting those who were in attendance of the Immigration Rally in Atlanta, Georgia, were busy reading extreme Communist literature flyers which were handed out to participants of the event. It was obviously someone’s intentions to use the event to build real hatred through the use of real propaganda material like the one seen in the video below.

There is no doubt there is a big difference between the two events and the intentions of the event organizers. One group desires to salvage the United States of America and it’s Constitution, while the other group wishes to destroy everything the U.S. has ever stood for. The greatest differences can be seen when comparing videos of Tea Party events and the immigrant protests/riots in Arizona.

The fact is that we are a nation of laws which are clearly spelled out in the Constitution and legislation that has already been passed on the federal level. If we cannot uphold these laws, then what good are we as a lawless nation?

While I do not support any rally that obscures its overall pursuit with violence, propaganda, or forceful activity I will say that the latest wave of immigration reform opposition should be in the wheelhouse of all Tea Party supporters. There are many laws that have been passed through the Federal level that the Tea Party is completely against… the point is that we have to have the clarity to discern what is and what is not in line with the original founding sentiment of our strong leadership which gave rise to this great nation. Accepting the downtrodden citizens of other countries had historically been a very American point of view. In fact, unless someone is a Native American then you’re an immigrant too. Do we have any higher moral authority to be here than someone who’s making the decision to join our fruitful nation merely because our grandparents did that for us? No. The country of laws that created sovereignty on paper using Manifest Destiny and the Monroe Doctrine to engulf land from shore to shore does not give us any further legal consideration to impose these obstacles to others.

Immigration reform that makes it easier and more efficient for immigrants to legally occupy space in the US is what we all should be after. After all, with the moral decay, Hollywood fascination, dollar weakening, and dying nationalism – we should be surprised anyone wants to move here at all.

We, true Americans, are trying to grasp at our roots to recapture what we used to have because we recognize the inglorious decline we are all witnessing.

If we wanted to quantifiably turn things around we would focus on what would make the most immediate and dramatic impact. Turning immigrants away is not nearly as advantageous to our country as welfare reform. Finding a way to get the American public to work (and no its not because immigrants are taking our jobs) instead of using the social handouts increases productivity and saves tax dollars. Not bailing out companies that make obviously greedy and stupid gambles instead of focusing on divorcing ourselves from foreign petroleum – meanwhile tens of thousands of gallons of oil spill into our gulf and coastlines.

What good is going to come of removing the “criminal” immigrant element when we continue to spend money we don’t have supporting an infrastructure that is destined to crumble? None.

  4. People latin love the law!! says:

Illegal border crossing is a CRIME, plain and simple!!! It’s not racial profiling, it’s criminal profiling. I am a LEGALLY immigrated here from South America. I pay my lawyer and paid the fees for LEGALLY enter to the United States. Is it fair that these illegals are here without having to do the same? Do they feel that they are entitled to permanent residency/citizenship without having to follow standard procedure? Above the law, perhaps? Ridiculous. We all have a family, We all want a work, We all wish a better future not just the ILLEGALS IMMIGRANTS. I love USA and I respect the law and I never feel discrimination. However, the illegals people call everybody “RACIST” and “IGNORANT” who don’t support them. I never support anything ILLEGAL. Illegals have no rights. It’s not hate is just JUSTICE!
