Was Restoring Honor Geese Flying in V Formation an Act of God?
ByThis odd anomaly of a flying V formation of geese as they fly over the Washington, D.C. reflecting pool will be highly debated for years. This fly-over took place just seconds before Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally was set to begin.
The debate that will follow? Was this an act of God that caused these geese to fly in a nearly perfect V formation when all efforts to get a military fly-over and efforts to get a Color Guard presentation to the event had failed? As a person who just doesn’t believe in coincidence, I can’t help to draw my own conclusions of this but I’ll let you be your own judge. Just keep in mind that the event was not based on politics like many had predicted without ANY supporting evidence. Instead it was based on faith. Restoring Honor was an event focused of faith, hope, and charity no matter what others might say about it.
At about the 60 second point in the following video you will see this impressive display of Geese flying in a near perfect V formation over the reflecting pool in a direction from the Washington Monument towards the Lincoln Memorial, where the Restoring Honor stage was set up. Flocks of geese always fly in a V formation. It cuts down on drag, saves them energy. Geese commonly graze on the Mall, anyone who’s ever been there when there isn’t a rally would know that. They came looking for food, and when they saw all the stupid humans standing on their food, they kept on flying, looking for a quieter meal.
This has got to be the lamest “miracle” anyone has ever claimed.
This is a great site that does a lot of good around the world with donations.
It would be more believable as a “miracle” if they were doves, instead of geese. This seems to be a very loose definition of “miracle”. A miracle isn’t just the rare or the coincidental. A true miracle should be something that can’t happen, but still does. Geese flying in a V shape happens all the time.
Who said anything about a miracle? The article asks if it was an act of God. Yes, it was an act of God. So is every breath you draw and every beat of your heart.
It is what you make it. If you believe in miracles it’s easy. I for one could not attend. I desperately wanted to but couldn’t. I stayed home and prayed for weeks. I prayed all morning, asking Our Lord to bless Glenn, Alveda King and all those attending. I asked that it be a huge success. I do not have one doubt that God sent those geese as a sign to us. He sees us and he hears us. The timing, the path they took proved it to me. You can believe what you like.

Is it a ‘miracle’? Perhaps not, but I’m STILL gonna give God the credit and it’s STILL pretty darn cool!! Being as jaded as you guys are can’t be much fun!! …..just sayin’.
Awesome gathering , and even though Geese always fly in a V formation its awesome and like a sign from GOD that its time to take back the honor of our country ! That its time to take back America take it out of the hands of a Radical communist Muslim President that is only trying to bring communist and socialist society to a FREE country,. America is a FREE country and it will always be a FREE country . Its time people that you stop talking and start taking action . Starting NOV 2 . Vote all the commies out !

In a special moment with the Lord around 15 yrs ago a flock of geese went over head. I shared with the Lord at that time how beautiful the geese were and the way he created them to fly in perfect formation. I heard him say they would be a sign to me that he is with me and for me and loves me. Watching this video, I felt the same anointing and the Lord saying he is with his people and loves them. He is restoring honor. He is a God that will not be mocked and will show himself strong to those who love him and are called according to his purpose. This was truly a sign from God.

To Defend the Truth
We, the citizens of the United States of America, commit to support each of its agenda items and advocate on behalf of individual liberty, limited government, and economic freedom. We as patriots have many things we can do to return our country to the values that made or country great. You as an individual can sign and share this with friends. As a point of issue this should be referred to your local politicians for review. We have had a great impact as patriots in the last year with grass roots movements and at some point we will have candidates that are not of our Conservative values. This could be used as a tool for holding candidates and politicians presently in office to adhere to higher standards expected by Americans. The fellow above is wrong that “it should be doves.” The wild goose is the Celtic symbol of the Holy Spirit. I believe it was an Act of God. I was there, and it was as if God was showing that we had found favor in His eyes. It was a wild goose that led St. Columba to the island of Iona, where a whole movement of renewal and reformation began. We got a whole battalion of wild geese!
Ummmm… You see, geese ALWAYS fly in V formation, as everyone knows! I’m guessing this article is a joke, right? Please tell me it’s a joke. Nobody can really be that crazy.
