Who am I?  As you may have figured out by now, my name is Trent Thevenot. I have been a long time listener of Glenn Beck on the XM radio and a strong supporter of The 912 Project and all it stands for.  I am a single father of three wonderful children who lives in a small Iowa town located, as we would say, right smack in the the middle of some corn fields.  I was brought up on strong Midwesterner values and knowing the differences between right and wrong.  I spent many years traveling the roads of this great country as a truck driver and have recently chosen to take an at home job to support and take care of my son.  While taking on the daily challenges of caring for my son, I also work a regular job and have also taken on a second job as the Marketing Director for eVoiceAmerica.com. As you can see by my activities on this site, I also like to blog about the many great things happening in our Country and I occasionally challenge tyranny, where ever it might lie, in my spare time.

Along my way in this journey I’ve had the great fortune to meet some of the absolute best people (real Patriots) America has to offer. No! Not the OWS people who are so quick to hate America. I’m talking about the people who love America and everything it stands for. The people who support our troops and welcome them home after their long deployments. The people who are next door to you who quietly whisper in my ear, I support everything you guys are doing. The people who support our U. S. Constitution and believe in it. For these reasons, I am proud to have become a part of a sleeping giant that has now been awakened.

How did I come into ownership of this website URL?  I was on the phone discussing The 912 Project with a good friend of mine (the same friend who owns and operates the Tea Party Tribune), who also has interests in the web and conservative America.  During our conversation I was explaining Glenn’s We Surround Them show on Fox News on March 13th, 2009 and the great project that was launched during the show.  We were discussing whether they had locked down the whole name surrounding The 912 Project.  Out of curiosity I did a quick domain check and the first one I checked was this hyphenated version of The 912 Project and was amazed to find that it was still available.  After some heavy debate between my friend and I, I decided to purchase it. The rest is history in the making.

In school I was one of the few fortunate ones who had a Government teacher that believed in teaching the importance of both political parties, and the balance that was created by having these two parties.  At that time 3rd parties were not as important an issue as they are today.  I am a person of balanced belief and see that both major parties are heading into directions that take them away from the good people of America who have put them into office.
