A District primary Republican forum, to be held in Pocahontas, Iowa, is quickly becoming the focal point for the clash between the Iowa political establishment and the Tea Party groups that have become such a powerful force to be recognized by Iowa Democratic and Republican leadership.

GOP primary opponents Tom Shaw of Laurens, Iowa and Steve Richards of Algona, Iowa will meet on Friday to debate real issues concerning those in support of the traditional values generally found in most Democratic and Republican households in District 8 of the Iowa House. From the information I have gathered on this event, I have no doubt this primary will be full of excitement for all those who choose to attend this highly anticipated event.

The Des Moines Register stated,

“Shaw is also the darling of the Tea Party activists in the area, while Richards is seen as a more establishment Republican.”

My thinking in today’s political environment is that being called an “establishment Republican” might be considered by many Iowan’s as being the same thing as a “Progressive Republican”, which seems to be the unpopular dominating influence over Iowa’s current political environment in both the Democratic and Republican parties.

Previously, Richards ran as a GOP candidate, during the 2008 election cycle, against Iowa House District 8 Democratic incumbent Delores Mertz. During my research of the candidates I found it interesting that Mertz, Richards’ 2008 Democrat opponent, was the candidate who received an endorsement by Iowans for Tax Relief instead of Steve Richards. Richards also received an “F” rating from the National Rifle Association (NRA) during his 2008 campaign for his history of taking stances against supporting the 2nd Amendment. Tom Shaw, on the other hand, has been highly supportive of the 2nd Amendment and the rights provided by this hot button part of the U.S. Constitution. The 2nd Amendment and abortion issues have been viewed by some political candidates as “Too Hot to Touch Issues”.

I had a chance to speak with Tom Shaw about the upcoming event, and when asked why he had originally chosen to run as an Independent, Shaw responded,

“Originally I left the Republican Party because I felt like too many of the Party’s leadership were willing to abandon the traditional values found in the Republican platform. The platform is the voice of “We The People”.

“Newt Gingrich wrote a book called “Real Change”. And even Gingrich criticizes the Republican Party of becoming a party of consultants rather than taking on the everyday challenges of being real leaders.

“I made the decision to return and run as a Republican as I have watched the actions of some elected Republican leaders fighting, in our State House, to protect our values and I wanted to be able to team up with them to return Iowa to it’s core traditional values.”

Tom continued to explain his reason for running on Republican ticket:

“The issues are too great and I did not want to confuse the voters with a campaign as an Independent Candidate”

The Iowa Independent provided more insight on Tom’s choice to run on the Republican Party ticket:

“Last month he changed his mind and came back to the Republican Party, saying his change of heart stems from the Iowa Family Policy Center (IFPC) and state Rep. Kent Sorenson, R-Indianola, publicly endorsing Vander Plaats, and in doing so, vowing never to support his chief rival for the party’s nomination, former Gov. Terry Branstad.”

When asked for their opinion on this primary, Iowa Carry’s reply was that they could not provide any direct opinions of the candidates, but they are paying close attention to the event and it’s outcome.

Although, this event is an event based around Republicans, I have been hearing a great deal of concern from Democrats over the progressive movement having hijacked their party, as well. Many of the Democrats I have spoken with tend to have the same core traditional values that many Republicans have and are only separated from many of their Republicans on a few small issues or simply on the party name their family has supported for years.

It has just been announced that Scott Brown has just won the Senate Special Election in Massachusetts!

Scott Brown Wins!

Scott Brown Wins Massachusetts Senate Special Election!

It has been an election that has received national attention from citizens all across these United States. The key that drew so much attention was the fact that this could be the Senate seat that prevents the Democrats from cramming through every agenda they had planned to ram down the throats of America. You might be one to be concerned over the health care bill, or the cap & trade, or the upcoming amnesty bill. No matter whether you are concerned over some of these bills, or you are concerned over the potential passage of all of these bills, Brown could be the important vote that prevents their passage.

We will have to keep in mind that this will only happen if he remembers who came together and helped him gain this much needed win for America. Should Scott Brown forget this fact, he will only have two years to hold this Massachusetts Senate seat and will be one of many expected to receive their pink slips in the coming years.

I’d like to applaud the U.S. Citizens, tea party groups, 912 project groups, and all the others who came out to let their voices be heard with this one critical vote to begin the process of bringing your government back to a point of representing the people.

What’s makes this win even more impressive, is the fact that you overcame the many alleged attempts of voter fraud and the violations of polling rules, as seen in the following videos provided by the Election Journal.

I have no doubt there will be much more to come.

The Senate race in Massachusetts involving Scott Brown and Martha Coakley has spurred tea party and 912 project groups to begin vetting potential candidates for a variety of seats to be filled in their regions of the country.

Whether you want to call it a “Hob Nob” or an “Informed Voters Forum“, it is an attempt to permit candidates with the opportunity to present themselves and their positions on the issues for the tea party and 912 project group members to decide for themselves who they will be supporting in the many upcoming elections as the citizens of America decide whether to put America before their parties. Candidate vetting processes continue to be a critical tool as we strive to bring U.S. politics back to it’s people and remove the flow of corruption.

A very active group, The Orlando Tea Party, has just put out a press release to announce their Hob Nob event.

ORLANDO TEA PARTY HOSTS CANDIDATE HOB NOB

Candidates will go head to head in a straw poll

ORLANDO — The Orlando Tea Party and the Tea Party Patriots Live radio show will be hosting a candidate hob nob event at Orlando City Hall at noon on Saturday February 13, 2010. The Tea Party vote will be critical in the upcoming election and the straw poll will give the candidates, media, and the public a chance to find out where the tea party vote is at this time.  The Tea Party Hob Nob will also be a great chance for Tea Party activists to get to know more about the candidates and ask them questions about policy directly.

Regardless of what happens on January 19, 2010, the American people owe themselves a pat on the back for what they’ve accomplished in such a short period of time. There are people from all parties and all walks of life coming out to support the Senate Candidate Scott Brown, of Massachusetts.

People are manning phone banks, they are knocking on doors, and they are making whatever contributions they can afford to help their voices to be heard by the current Obama Administration and the Liberals that control Congress and the Senate, as well as those in the Republican Party leadership. What might be even more important is the notice being given to all Republican and Democratic leadership, that Conservative Americans intend to take back control of their parties and their United States of America.

They have awoken a sleeping giant that they are wishing they had never awoken.

Just an FYI Martha Coakley, a Senator is a solo position and you seem to see it as a necessary duet.

Martha Coakley needs her entourage including an Obama appointee (among other things) to commit Chicago-style Thump tactics upon the media:

Isn’t it interesting to learn the DNC sent the reported thug, Michael Meehan, to Massachusetts to assist with messaging?

mass flag

Massachusetts stands ready to correct one portion (eliminating the stranglehold of the U.S. Liberal Senate majority and prevent ramming passage of “bad bills” upon the populace) of the 2008 election and set the standard for every upcoming election in 2010. It is reasonable to expect that Massachusetts is well aware that they have choices to further assist the destruction of the United States of America by Liberal Democratic candidates that are so last century, whose methods of sacking votes are arcane and archaic or move forward Conservatively.

Let’s have a cup of “Tea”, shall we, as we look into Liberal Democratic candidates wielding unions and more…..

Liberal Democratic Candidates seem to enjoy Secret Banking Issues and Sharing the Wealth, as we are reminded by William A. Jacobson,

Coakley set up a secret campaign account for her state campaign organization which she used to lay the groundwork for a U.S. Senate campaign even though campaign rules prohibited the use of state campaign funds for federal races. Coakley used the account for polling and other organizational functions, including campaign signs and paraphenalia, which she then “sold” to her federal campaign committee.

Liberal Democratic Candidates seem to enjoy Campaign Finance Issues. Just like ones found on Boston Magazine:

Coakley is calculating in other ways, too. Just look at her campaign finance forms. A candidate can’t use state funds for a federal campaign, but that’s exactly what Coakley has done. The state GOP was the first to pick up on this, saying she had paid roughly $30,000 to people on her payroll who had the ostensible job of helping with her AG run in 2010. Only problem is, these people are also helping her now with her Senate campaign. Coakley has publicly called the allegation petty politics, but she also quietly moved $35,000 from her state campaign coffers to her federal ones. The Federal Election Committee has taken the complaint from the state GOP under review.

Liberal Democratic Candidates seem to enjoy the support of Unions and keep them under their thumb, as seen on the AFL-CIO website:

The Massachusetts AFL-CIO today unanimously endorsed Martha Coakley for United States Senate in the upcoming January 19 election.

Martha Coakley enjoys Flip Flop Political Views and Legislation.
This Liberal Democratic Candidate appears to throw anyone under the bus to further their career, when they could do the right thing.
Liberal Democratic Candidates forgo “My Word is my bond” and it always changes with the wind!
This Liberal Democratic Candidates play the sympathy and first to achieve card.
Looks like someone is getting called out and my goodness…it’s a Liberal Democratic Candidate.

Could this be a skill derived under White House tutelage?

White House Resident seems to enjoy Banking Issues and Sharing the Wealth.
White House Resident seems to enjoy Campaign Finance Issues. (1 of many)
White House Resident seems to enjoy the support of Unions and keeps them under thumb. (1 great source)
White House Resident enjoys Flip Flop Political Views and Legislation.
White House Resident appears to throw anyone under the bus to further their career, when they could do the right thing (So many choices, so little time!)
White House Resident forgoes “My Word is my bond” and it always changes with the wind!
White House Resident plays the sympathy and first to achieve card.
White House Resident is viewed by the electorate as incapable of performing his sworn duties. And just for good measure the puppets are whining.

Massachusetts do the right thing in 14 days and vote smart for America with an educated vote! It’s time to put politics as usual aside!
