Will There be a New Chapter for The 912 Project Truck?
Posted by: | CommentsWhere the rubber use to meet the pavement while traveling down the nations highways, the rubber of the 912 project truck now meets the pavement while parked in waiting for a new chapter to begin in it’s life.
I owe my good friend Art my apologies for taking so long to get this article put together. Those who know both Art and I, know that both of us have shared the same interesting challenges of the same occupation. While having received notice of Mr. Wayland’s latest story, “When God Closes a Door He Opens a Window”, by him along with notices coming from a number of other 912 Project friends since the 6th, the challenges of my occupation have kept me from putting something together to show my high level of support for Art and his wonderful wife and everything the two have done to spread the 9-12 message. Sadly, Art is now being forced to give up his love of the road and the many freedoms it has offered he and his wife as they traveled America’s highways over the years.
The issue Art is currently faced with stems from a major heart attack he suffered this past October after which he has recently been notified that he would not be re-certified as a commercial driver. See excerpt from Art’s story below.
“Just south of Macon, at mile post 133, I pulled off the road due to shoulder, jaw and neck pain, and blurred vision. Any guesses? That’s right, I was having a heart attack. Tina called 911 and I was picked up by an ambulance and transported to Medical Center of Central Georgia and into the emergency room. After some tests and preparatory procedures they rushed me to the Heart catheter unit and placed a stint in one of the coronary arteries. The artery was 100% blocked by a clot that had broken loose from another location and moved to the heart causing a blockage…
…Unfortunately, as mentioned above, the F.M.C.S.A. will not allow me to be re-certified as a commercial driver with the condition of my heart nor will they permit driving with an icd.”
The challenges listed above have caused Art and his wife to have to consider the possibility of having to sell the 912 project truck, as detailed in his story. Having known the couple since the fall of 2009 when I did my first story on them, I knew that this was not at all what they are wanting to do if at all possible. Having had several conversations with them, including a long conversation just last night, I knew the couple’s real passion was still in keeping the truck and using it as an educational tool to travel across the country while stopping at schools, Universities, Festivals, or where ever they might be welcomed to pull up with a walk-through trailer that would be like a traveling educational museum telling the real history of America and the United States Constitution. While Art will not be able to get re-certified, his wife does still have her CDL and would be able to drive the truck to the various locations.
After having spoken with Art last night and while traveling across Southern Missouri today, I knew I had to call into Glenn Beck’s program and
tell Glenn and his listeners about the 912 project truck and all the Waylands have done to support the constant re-educating of America during their travels. That’s right! I figured I had better come out of the closet for a moment or two to help a good friend and fellow Patriot. As I waited patiently on hold for over two hours, I walked around a rest area along I-44 just West of Springfield with anticipation of whether I would make it on the program and if I did, just what would I say to do their story the justice it deserves? While enjoying my walk around the rest area on this cool Southern Missouri morning, I couldn’t help but be entertained by the three rest area attendants on duty and the fact they spent a large percentage of their time taking breaks rather than maintaining the rest area, as I believe was what they were suppose to be doing.
Let me continue with Art’s story. When I did finally make it onto Beck’s Radio program today at around 10:40 AM CST, I explained to his listening audience how the couple had made a major investment with the $6,000 plus custom designed vinyl wrap they had to fit on their T600 Kenworth. They also spent countless dollars in having purchased thousands of Pocket Constitutions along with a variety of other literature to hand out to people absolutely free of charge. All this while upholding to the 9 Principles and 12 Values put forth when “The 912 Project” was first launched. Art has inform me they have received some generous donations through the 912 truck website and by other means that did assist them with the costs of materials.
With wrapping up this story, I will once again make this request. I know we have many good people who truly have it in their hearts to salvage what’s left of our America. I also know some of you have the resources to help the Waylands in finding their dream to re-educate America with a rolling American History Museum to reach out and educate young and old alike. Wouldn’t it be great to know you’ve not only helped two great Patriots, but you’ve also helped build a better and stronger America at the same time? Feel free to reach them at the email address they have listed on their site and see what you can do to assist them with this dream.
Christians join the Progressives in Beck-bashing over Restoring Honor
Posted by: | CommentsOn 8/28/2010, Glenn Beck held his “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington, DC. It is believed over 500,000 people attended what Beck billed as a non-political event. As he said on his 8/30 television show: “I said the message would be about restoring honor and turning to God. I said the day would be about faith, hope and charity. I told you for a long time the day would be focused on challenging each and every individual so we can restore honor. That’s the key to restoring our country, restoring ourselves first.” Beck’s own words attest that not only was this a non-political rally but that it was a non-denominational rally – spiritually challenging and uplifting, but non-doctrinal to ANY particular religion other than the basic Christian values found in the Bible.
Since Glenn is a known Mormon, there are some on the “Christian”-side who are criticizing him for his audacity in believing that he could or should hold such a rally as the Restoring Honor Rally. Some accuse him of attempting to fulfill a Mormon prophecy of “Divine Destiny” – the same phrase Beck has used in describing the Founders and the writing of the Constitution. These critics claim that Glenn believes that it is his divine destiny to fulfill the prophecy that …the Republic would nearly falter, (and) Mormons would swoop in to save the day (David Shedlock “8/27 & 8/28 Glenn Beck Takes Another Bite Out of the Apple: The Meaning of Divine Destiny”). According to these critics, Beck’s pleas to Americans to “get down on their knees and pray” is really his way of fulfilling Mormon prophecy and attempting to convert all Americans to Mormonism. Also according to his critics, Beck can’t help but preach his religion: “Beck asks Christian leaders to “put differences aside,” but Beck himself daily peppers his broadcasts with Mormon distinctives because he cannot keep his beliefs to himself.” (Shedlock, “Divine Destiny: Evangelicals with out the Evangel”). And since Glenn can’t keep his beliefs to himself, “Satan is the one laughing at them as ‘Christians’ run head-long into embracing non-Biblical theology and call it ‘Christian’” (Brannon S. Howse, “Glenn Beck Rally Set Stage for “Christians to Accept Paganism, and Mormons Say Beck Achieved 200 Year Goal of Getting Evangelicals to Declare that Mormons are Christians”).
Since when does calling people to pray, to go to THEIR churches, to get back to God, to practice Faith, Hope and Charity mean that someone is attempting sending Christians into “non-Biblical theology”? According to Howse, Beck’s “Black Robed Brigade” will result in: “The compromise by evangelical leaders and pastors by spiritually uniting with ‘all faiths’ with the theme of ‘looking to the one god’, as described by Beck, has laid the foundation for untold numbers of self-professing Christians to now embrace pluralism and pagan spirituality. Pastors and evangelical leaders literally locked arms with all faiths, including Imams, in a spiritual endeavor despite the clear Biblical warnings of II Corinthians 6:14. (2 Cor. 6:14 states: Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?)”
How is it possible for Glenn to have a theme of “looking to one god” and yet be laying the foundation for Christians to embrace pluralism and pagan spirituality? The logic makes no sense. Howse also tries to use Ephesians 4:14 to continue to make his point when he states: “As a result, the members of their own congregation hear no advanced warning of the coming spiritual undertow nor do they acquire the needed Biblical knowledge that keeps them from being children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.” Unfortunately, Howse practices his own deceitful plotting by using a common ruse in Biblical arguments: pulling a verse and using it out of context, for if one reads the entire section of Ephesians he is referring to, one would actually see this: “It was he who gave some to be apostles, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead speaking the TRUTH in LOVE, we will see all things grow up into him, who is the Head, that is, Christ.” (Ephesians 4:11-15) In fact, Beck’s call to “look to one God” reflects an earlier part of the same chapter of Ephesians which states: “As a prisoner of the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit – just as you were called to one hope when you were called – one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all through all and in all.” (Eph. 4:1-6)
A Restoring Honor Rally, calling to all Americans to pray, to practice charity, to go to their own churches and have hope and faith, being misconstrued as a call to practice paganism is not the only weapon the critics have been aiming at Beck. He’s also been accused of practicing Cosmic Humanism – the idea that man is God. This accusation comes from Glenn’s appearance on Fox Sunday with Chris Wallace when he said: “because there’s nothing that we can do that will solve the problems that we have and keep the peace unless we solve it through God, unless we solve it in being our highest self. Be your higher-self.” These critics somehow seem to have missed the point of Christianity in general according to the Apostle Paul who wrote: “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:22-24). Isn’t what Beck said the same as what Paul stated? Furthermore, using the concept of reaching one’s “highest self” we can also define the top human need in Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs: Self-Actualization, which says that the final need of human beings to be fulfilled as people is to experience MORALITY AND PURPOSE, MEANING AND INNER POTENTIAL.
So which part about “experiencing morality and purpose, meaning and inner potential” goes against putting “off your old self…and put on the new self, created to be like God…”? or as Beck puts it: “being our highest self”? Is it possible that perhaps Beck is truly asking people to reach their highest potential? That we must start by changing ourselves in order to change the country? Or, since Glenn is a Mormon, and like the obese, one of the last groups of people unprotected by th0se who profess to being politically correct, Beck’s critics attempt to use his own religion to accuse him of nefarious motives behind his Rally?
Throughout history people who have had the ability to touch others’ lives have been attacked, martyred and betrayed by those who are envious of their power. Beck called out to the Nation and over 500,000 people showed up. Another 130,000+ watched the rally as it was live-streamed on Facebook, and untold thousands watched it on C-SPAN. Who else has been able to accomplish such a feat today? He has spent the last few years telling America to “get on your knees and pray.” There was no other doctrine than the Christian doctrine spoken on stage on 8/28. There were no other values than the ones this country was founded upon pushed on the crowd; no talk of anything other than love, faith, hope and charity. Love of God, love of family, love of country and appreciation for those who protect our country – who protect our very way of life by sacrificing their lives and time for the sake of our country, our rights, our families. But, because Glenn Beck is a Mormon, because of his ability to call people out and have them actually show up, without being paid, he is attacked. The attacks from the left are expected; the attacks from the Christian right? Not so much, until we are reminded of history and the in-fighting among Christians throughout the ages, beginning as early as 75 AD, that started as debates over doctrine and the “true religion” and ultimately turned into genocide, inquisitions and witch-hunts. Is this a witch-hunt being performed on Glenn Beck because he is a God-fearing Mormon? Or is it because of his ability to call people to action? Is Beck amassing too much power and must be attacked and dismissed as “not one of us” because of his Mormon beliefs or because of his power?
Those who question Beck’s “qualifications” to call people to God should go back and read the writings of the Apostle Paul, especially Romans and Ephesians to see what he says about judging one another on the basis of theological differences. In Romans, Paul says: “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives to himself alone. If we live we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. You then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.” (Romans 14: 5-10)
If Glenn Beck has not accepted Christ as his Savior – as many of his critics say he hasn’t and use as their reason for attacking him – then maybe this is God’s way to reach Beck’s heart. How many thousands of people may have been reached through Beck’s appeals for the American people to reach to God? Who are we to question God’s ways? Hasn’t it been demonstrated throughout the ages and in the Bible that God will use even the most lowly person to fulfill His plans? The Prophet Jonah, when he disobeyed God, eventually went on to fulfill God’s plan. Judas, the most despised and misunderstood of all the disciples, was used to fulfill Christ’s destiny. Why is it then, that so many Christians are attacking Glenn for attempting to reach the masses and ask only that they turn to God, that they pray for wisdom and that they find their purpose at the feet of God?
In the story of Esther, Mordecai beseeches Esther to go to Xerxes and beg for the lives of her people when he says: “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14) Is it possible that those who choose to criticize Glenn should instead be criticizing themselves and their church leaders because they have been called but have refused to do God’s work and in so doing have caused God to go to someone like Beck to do the work that the critics should have been doing? Or instead of criticizing Beck, perhaps take this moment of history to heart and start doing the work that God has called all of us to do? As Christ says in Luke 6:41: “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye’, when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
The truth is that Beck is not preaching Mormonism, he is asking people to turn to God in order to restore honor in their own lives to start the restoration of honor for our America. As it is said in Luke 6:45: “The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.”" Has Beck’s words and actions reflected a heart stored up with evil? Or do they reflect that most important of all Commandants – the one that is” Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” (Matthew 22:37-38)? It is by this commandment that we should judge Beck’s words and actions – is he fulfilling this commandment and asking others to do the same? And if he is living up to that commandment, then perhaps we should stop fighting and criticizing, and start living up to it ourselves so that we can follow the next greatest commandment which states: “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39) – only then will we truly be able to Restore Honor to America.
Editor’s Note: While it is important for us to not fall to a place where we begin to worship Glenn Beck, it is important for us to come together for a higher purpose. A battle that will last far beyond tomorrow and far beyond 2010. Glenn held this Restoring Honor rally because he sees the bigger picture of what it will take to overcome the attacks against the sovereignty of the United States of America by those who seem to be influenced by interests from far beyond our borders. It will take the building of a strong base before we can make serious gains in restoring honor in our America.
Restoring Honor speaks of Faith Hope and Charity
Posted by: | CommentsMany Americans from all across the country were anxiously awaiting this day, a day of restoring honor in America with faith, hope, and charity. Glenn Beck announced his intentions almost a year ago at which time he was unsure what he was going to do on the day that was to build a new dream for America. A dream to rebuild an America that once again stands for faith, hope, and charity. The worthy beneficiaries of this great event are the children of our soldiers who have given their all. The four start rated charity, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, received over five million dollars from the event, of which they will be using to provide education, scholarships for surviving children of special operations personnel who have died in the line of duty. Anyone still wishing to make contributions to this worthy cause can do so by visiting their “Make a Donation” page.
While the day has come and gone, the message given at Restoring Honor on 8/28/2010, will stay with us for many years to come now that the Smithsonian Institution has even requested items from the event in order to preserve it as a day in history. My assumptions with their request would have to be that they see the Restoring Honor Rally as a potential game changer event that could and should change the direction this great country will be heading in from this day forward. It’s not about the direction of politics, it’s not about anger and hatred, it’s about America and the faith and the love of it’s people for what this great nation was founded upon.
The following video, from my friends at SecularStupidest, shows the building of the historical event that will now be remembered in history as “Restoring Honor” and is the first time any talk show host has EVER been able to hold a rally of this magnitude.
Many leftists and Glenn Beck haters spewed anger and their hatred before they even knew what the rally would be about. With all the threats and attacks that have come out against Beck, Dr. Alveda King, Palin, and the many others who joined in on a day meant for Restoring Honor, it might be easy to come to the understanding that this could be the Leftist’s very own Civil War. America can only hope the FBI is doing and will continue to do their jobs by chasing down all the threats that are being applied towards all those involved in putting this event on.
I’ve listened and watched many reports on this event before, during, and after it. The only ones who seem to be providing any level of accuracy are those of you who ARE the New Media and some foreign reporting agencies. I was shocked when even the lady doing the reporting for FOX News was reporting the Restoring Honor rally as having a crowd of 10′s of thousands. Yes, the politics behind the numbers game is an important game for those in support and for those in opposition. The reason it is so important for those who attended, and even those who are the haters, is because for every 1 person who attended there would be approximately 20 who would have liked to have been in attendance and were unable to attend for reasons that were beyond their control, just like myself. I even had someone on twitter prior to the event try to claim the event was all about selling one of Glenn’s books which has sense been disproved. Many are claiming realistic crowd size estimates to be in the 6-700,000 range. Tonight, September 31,2010, the Glenn Beck Show will be providing a unique view of just how many 100,000 crowds can fit in the areas filled on Saturday.
What is interesting about Sharpton’s Reclaiming the Dream rally – Anti-Beck Rally, of approximately 3-4,000 people (realistic numbers because we have no reason to lie about this), is that it focused on fueling and feeding racism to keep it alive and to keep his lifestyle alive. In no way was his rally or the speeches supporting the dreams of Martin Luther King who was about equality amongst all men (and women). Because without racism Al Sharpton will no longer be a leader who will be able to go to corporations and demand monetary contributions to him and his group to keep them from attacking that corporations products. While Sharpton went on to preach and feed an angle of hatred to his followers and worshipers, Glenn Beck, Dr. Alveda King, and others focused their efforts on bringing Americans of all colors, races, and sexes together to rebuild faith, hope, and charity for the purpose of Restoring Honor in America.
The video below clearly shows what Sharpton’s rally was all about. I’d also like you to pay particularly close attention to the signs. Do you think they have taken the idea of hand-made signs from any other group of people who seem to be taking back their America in big numbers?
Youth Pastor Releases a Hit Sure to Inspire our Youth
Posted by: | CommentsA couple of nights I received a message from a guy named Jeremy Dodge who identified himself as a Youth Pastor who had been inspired to write a song about six months ago. He was proud to announce his having recently recorded the music video combo. (I think you will agree with me that the video just adds great character to an already fantastic song.) Just like with every other request, I loaded the video/song combo and began listening… and then listened again… and then listened to it a third time. I then sat back and said to myself, “This is exactly what I’ve been looking for to help reach our youth and let them know it’s alright to take pride in America.” I didn’t stop there. I called to my 14 yr. old son and had him watch it. After the song finished, I asked his thoughts and he said, “That song is cool, Dad.” (He must be a chip off the old block, because that was exactly what I was thinking.)
Last night I finally found time to give Mr. Dodge a call to discuss his song and ask him for a little history of how he came to be a Youth Pastor and how it was that Glenn Beck so inspired him to write this song. After watching and listening to Jeremy’s song, “Stand Up”, please take a few moments to read a great and inspiring story of how Jeremy Dodge and his song came to be. And, then pass this song to everyone you know so we can let our youth know it’s alright to take pride. I have also been informed that his website was just officially launched a few minutes prior to this article being written. You can check out his new site by clicking his name above.
Please welcome, Jeremy Dodge and his new song, “Stand Up – America”!
Jeremy’s story continues below. I was going to to just take excerpts from it, but after reading it I decided the whole story is what made the man, and thus made the song.
For as long as I can remember I have had a passion and love for music. It all started when my dad took me to my first rock concert when I was just 4 years old. Growing up, my parents were later divorced and I lived with my mom who always did her best to raise me in a Godly home. As I came into my teenage years, I became very involved in my church, but when high school hit, decided to go my own way and pursue my dream of becoming a musician. After several hard years of trying to “make it” I ended up broke, depressed and homeless. Eventually I moved home and after many months of making wrong choices and one late night of partying, I laid on my bed and thought, “there’s got to be more to this life!” I prayed the most ugly prayer in history and told God if He was real, I needed to know. I passed out and woke up completely sober. Completely. I had no desire for any substance at all. I immediately got back into church and within months met my wife. I moved to Utah in 1999 where I’d spend the next 8 years volunteering in my church in several capacities, one of which was youth ministry. I really never had a true desire to teach young people. I wanted to minister to adults and help them with their walk with God, not kids! But, one night I went with my wife into a youth service where a new found love for young people and a heart to see them set on the right path was discovered. After that, it was game over and what was once all about me became all about others and I just wanted to help them however I could.
In 2006, I moved home to Albuquerque where my wife and I became Student Ministry Pastors and have been pouring our lives and souls into young people ever since. I sincerely care for young people. I care about where they are at mentally, physically and of course, spiritually. I care about their safety, education, view points and mentality. I honestly feel there is a generation of young people growing up that are not investigating the things they believe in. Instead, they believe what music artists, the media, their friends and the internet say concerning important subjects like life, religion and politics. This must stop!
One night while watching Glenn Beck on FOX News, I had a sudden urgency come on me to write a political song. I’ve never written a political song and actually had been planning to get into the studio to record a rather bold, in your face song about God. Yet, I knew I had to write this political song instead. As I continued to watch Glenn Beck, I fought the idea about writing it. I thought, “What in the world would I do with a political song?” I knew how strongly I felt about politics and the current condition of our government and nation, but a political song? Finally, I put all doubt aside and picked up a pen and piece of paper. Within literally five minutes, the song was written. I got into the studio immediately and we pumped the song out in less than a couple sessions. With the help of a close friend, I was given the idea to make a video and everything else is history. I’m so stoked about how this song is in some way helping our nation. It’s making a difference.
I wrote “Stand Up” out of pure concern about where our country and the generations coming up in our nation are going and honest conviction and belief in the possibility that it is not too late for the UNITED States of America. That we can and will “Stand Up” and truly be “a government of the people, by the people, for the people.” In looking at some of the lyrics from my song, “Stand Up”, I wrote:
“There’s somethin’ happenin’ here.
What it is, ain’t exactly unclear.
Politicians with our lives in their hands,
Tellin’ you and me, which way we should stand.
I think it’s time we STOP, hey what’s that sound?
Everybody look what’s goin’ down…”This is the heart of the song. We Americans have to stop, and really look at what is and has been happening in our nation and government. We must stand up to injustice and unrighteousness and be the strong nation we were founded to be. If I can stand up, anyone can. I’m really hoping and praying that many Americans will join the battle-cry to Stand Up and not back down. We are America.

Glenn Beck’s American Revival Incident
Posted by: | CommentsThank you to reader Angie P. for sending in her report and video of an incident that took place in Orlando, Florida during one of Glenn’s American Revival events.
This video is from Glenn Beck’s American Revival in Orlando on Saturday March 27, 2010.
This was probably the most amazing experience of the day (and it was all amazing!). An elderly woman needed a doctor in one of the upper levels – at first we all thought the hollering were from protesters, but it becomes obvious that it is something else when people start screaming “doctor.” While the paramedics rush up there, all 8,000 of us are just sort of sitting in silence, when Glenn starts to hum Amazing Grace … and the crowd starts humming and softly singing with him. It was a truly beautiful and moving experience.
For all those ignorant people out there that say what hateful, angry, & horrible people the Tea Party & 912′ers are, they obviously, have never been to an event. I was with 8,000 of them yesterday, and as you can tell by the video they are good, loving, God-fearing AMERICANS!!!!
I am happy to report the poor elderly woman, we were told, is going to be okay. The power of prayer!!!
I apologize for the quality of the video. It was taken with my Blackberry cell video camera (not the highest quality), but I hope I have captured some of that amazing and wonderful experience.

Restoring Honor in the Realm of Dumbledore
Posted by: Andrea Mayer-Bruestle | Comments (0)The Harry Potter
series may have been written for children, but much of the heart of the books ring true to adults today.
Professor Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4)
, JK Rowling, pgs. 723-724
If Glenn Beck were to use this speech at his “8/28 Restoring Honor Rally” on Saturday, it might go something like this:
Dumbledore’s words ring true to those of us who love America, who desire to see her back on track with the Constitution. What happens in Hogwarts School in Book 5 (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book 5)
) is prophetic – on a smaller scale, obviously – of what we are potentially facing as a country if the current leaders are allowed to continue to take us on the path they’ve set forth upon.
Our current leaders crave a crisis. They crave dissonance. They want us to be battling over a mosque that doesn’t even have enough funding to begin building next year because it takes the focus off of what they are doing to our country. Our current leaders want us to find reasons to be distrustful of one another because that forces us to trust them or to become oblivious to what they are doing, and the essence of what the leaders are doing is spreading evil.
The evil that is being encouraged and exploited by our leaders is the evil of ENVY. Envy is the worst of the Seven Deadly Sins for a reason: all of the other sins originate with ENVY. Lucifer’s fall hinged upon his desire to be like GOD – he was envious of God’s power and wanted it. He was cast out of heaven for that sin. Our current administration plays upon this deadly sin by trying to limit how much people can earn; by trying to “spread the wealth”; by stealing from hard-working people to give their wealth to those who don’t work as hard. Why? Because they are playing the politics of envy.
When we are envious of what others have, we are coveting their belongings and breaking one of the Ten Commandments; simultaneously, we are also playing directly into the hands of the administration who tell us that we don’t have to work as hard as someone else, that the government will take care of us, if only we let them. We are allowing our envy, our desires, our coveting to override our freedoms. By breaking God’s commandments, we are allowing ourselves to be punished and that punishment comes in the form of the blessing of FREEDOM being removed, bit-by-bit, from our lives. While we are distracted by what we don’t have but what we want to have, we allow our government to continue to play upon the basest nature of mankind. We are so busy hating those who have, that we don’t see what precious things are being taken away from us.
We need to heed Dumbledore’s advice. We need to listen to Glenn Beck. We need to come together as AMERICANS – not as Republicans or Tea Partiers or Democrats – and fight the insidious evil that is spreading across our land. We need to teach our children to be self-sufficient; to do for themselves – that urge that takes over every two-year-old child to say “ME DO IT!” when they refuse to let you dress them – we need to raise our children to see what they want and think “Me do it!” – that they can work for what they want instead of coveting what others have and allowing the government to take care of them.
Listen to Dumbledore
. We are coming upon dark and dangerous times. What choice will you make? Will you choose what is right or what is easy?
