Video: Restoring Honor Attendees are Kindest People in DC
Posted by: | CommentsWho were the attendees who came from all points of America to participate in the Restoring Honor rally? They were people of many races. They were people of many faiths. They WERE… the kindest and most well mannered people America has to offer.
I have talked to many people who attended Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally in Washington, D.C. on 8/28 of 2010 and heard story after story about the compliments they received from workers around the D.C. metro area. They have told me stories about how clean everyone left the grounds. They talked about seeing people reach down and pick up a small piece of paper, maybe a gum wrapper, as the crowd was leaving in everyone’s attempt to leave the grounds as clean, if not cleaner, than they had found it before the crowd came in.
They were complimented time and time again with words like, “we just love it when you people come to town because you are such nice people.” Even with many of the subway escalators being shut down, my friends saw person after person helping the determined elderly folks walk up the stairs from the subways. The city was not only overwhelmed with people from across America, but the city was overwhelmed with love, inspiration, and kindness like the DC seldom sees. And then there are the many other stories that are being heard on Glenn Beck’s Radio and FOX News programs. Like the one of a white family helping a handicapped black woman around for the entire day as both attended Restoring Honor. The story about a ladies husband who had lost his wallet with their conversation being overheard by another family who so generously gave them $400 to make sure they would be alright only to later to be contacted by the police that someone had found their wallet. To their surprise the wallet had all the cash and credit cards still in it.
I could continue with telling you about the people who attend other events, but I am going to leave this article as one of positive content because I want this to be a time of moving forward and reaching out to those who have lost their feelings of love and kindness for whatever reason.
Below is a segment from Glenn Beck’s FOX News program which aired 8-31-2010 that tells of just some of the many acts of kindness found before, during, and after the Restoring Honor rally.
Was Restoring Honor Geese Flying in V Formation an Act of God?
Posted by: | CommentsThis odd anomaly of a flying V formation of geese as they fly over the Washington, D.C. reflecting pool will be highly debated for years. This fly-over took place just seconds before Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally was set to begin.
The debate that will follow? Was this an act of God that caused these geese to fly in a nearly perfect V formation when all efforts to get a military fly-over and efforts to get a Color Guard presentation to the event had failed? As a person who just doesn’t believe in coincidence, I can’t help to draw my own conclusions of this but I’ll let you be your own judge. Just keep in mind that the event was not based on politics like many had predicted without ANY supporting evidence. Instead it was based on faith. Restoring Honor was an event focused of faith, hope, and charity no matter what others might say about it.
At about the 60 second point in the following video you will see this impressive display of Geese flying in a near perfect V formation over the reflecting pool in a direction from the Washington Monument towards the Lincoln Memorial, where the Restoring Honor stage was set up. Once again, you be the judge and feel free to share your comments below.
Restoring Honor speaks of Faith Hope and Charity
Posted by: | CommentsMany Americans from all across the country were anxiously awaiting this day, a day of restoring honor in America with faith, hope, and charity. Glenn Beck announced his intentions almost a year ago at which time he was unsure what he was going to do on the day that was to build a new dream for America. A dream to rebuild an America that once again stands for faith, hope, and charity. The worthy beneficiaries of this great event are the children of our soldiers who have given their all. The four start rated charity, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, received over five million dollars from the event, of which they will be using to provide education, scholarships for surviving children of special operations personnel who have died in the line of duty. Anyone still wishing to make contributions to this worthy cause can do so by visiting their “Make a Donation” page.
While the day has come and gone, the message given at Restoring Honor on 8/28/2010, will stay with us for many years to come now that the Smithsonian Institution has even requested items from the event in order to preserve it as a day in history. My assumptions with their request would have to be that they see the Restoring Honor Rally as a potential game changer event that could and should change the direction this great country will be heading in from this day forward. It’s not about the direction of politics, it’s not about anger and hatred, it’s about America and the faith and the love of it’s people for what this great nation was founded upon.
The following video, from my friends at SecularStupidest, shows the building of the historical event that will now be remembered in history as “Restoring Honor” and is the first time any talk show host has EVER been able to hold a rally of this magnitude.
Many leftists and Glenn Beck haters spewed anger and their hatred before they even knew what the rally would be about. With all the threats and attacks that have come out against Beck, Dr. Alveda King, Palin, and the many others who joined in on a day meant for Restoring Honor, it might be easy to come to the understanding that this could be the Leftist’s very own Civil War. America can only hope the FBI is doing and will continue to do their jobs by chasing down all the threats that are being applied towards all those involved in putting this event on.
I’ve listened and watched many reports on this event before, during, and after it. The only ones who seem to be providing any level of accuracy are those of you who ARE the New Media and some foreign reporting agencies. I was shocked when even the lady doing the reporting for FOX News was reporting the Restoring Honor rally as having a crowd of 10′s of thousands. Yes, the politics behind the numbers game is an important game for those in support and for those in opposition. The reason it is so important for those who attended, and even those who are the haters, is because for every 1 person who attended there would be approximately 20 who would have liked to have been in attendance and were unable to attend for reasons that were beyond their control, just like myself. I even had someone on twitter prior to the event try to claim the event was all about selling one of Glenn’s books which has sense been disproved. Many are claiming realistic crowd size estimates to be in the 6-700,000 range. Tonight, September 31,2010, the Glenn Beck Show will be providing a unique view of just how many 100,000 crowds can fit in the areas filled on Saturday.
What is interesting about Sharpton’s Reclaiming the Dream rally – Anti-Beck Rally, of approximately 3-4,000 people (realistic numbers because we have no reason to lie about this), is that it focused on fueling and feeding racism to keep it alive and to keep his lifestyle alive. In no way was his rally or the speeches supporting the dreams of Martin Luther King who was about equality amongst all men (and women). Because without racism Al Sharpton will no longer be a leader who will be able to go to corporations and demand monetary contributions to him and his group to keep them from attacking that corporations products. While Sharpton went on to preach and feed an angle of hatred to his followers and worshipers, Glenn Beck, Dr. Alveda King, and others focused their efforts on bringing Americans of all colors, races, and sexes together to rebuild faith, hope, and charity for the purpose of Restoring Honor in America.
The video below clearly shows what Sharpton’s rally was all about. I’d also like you to pay particularly close attention to the signs. Do you think they have taken the idea of hand-made signs from any other group of people who seem to be taking back their America in big numbers?
Louisiana Law Prevents Monks from Selling Handmade Caskets
Posted by: | CommentsMonks in Louisiana face jail time if their company, Saint Joseph Woodworks, was to sell their handmade caskets in the state of Louisiana.
The Institute for Justice has accepted the case request by Abbot Brown and his fellow monks to provide them with the authority to sell their caskets within the state of Louisiana. Currently the monks, who have been established in the Gulf South since 1889, are under threat of hefty fines or even jail time for selling their caskets due to protectionism laws put into place by state legislature to protect the funeral cartel of Louisiana.
Current Louisiana law makes it legal to bury the human body straight into the ground or you can also wrap a body in a bed sheet to bury the deceased. Making your own casket or one made by someone else is also legal as long as it is not purchased. However, it is illegal to purchase a casket if the purchase is not make by one of their politically protected and licensed cartel members.
The monks caskets, made by Saint Joseph Woodworks, are simple in nature and are not requested by large numbers of people. The monks of Saint Joseph Abbey have been making been making their caskets for over a hundred years and use these profits to support the health and education of their monks at the monastery. There is a public demand for their simplistic coffins and they just wish to have the right to continue to provide this option to people who have lost loved ones.
This case has come about from a subpoena issued to Saint Joseph Abbey members Abbot Justin Brown and Deacon Mark Coudrain in March by the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. If the two are found guilty they will be subject to 180 days in jail and thousands in fines. Both of which are crippling to the monks, monastery, and Saint Joseph Woodworks.
Institute for Justice Senior Attorney Jeff Rowes states,
The brothers of Saint Joseph Abbey are ready to go all the way to the Supreme Court if that’s what it takes to restore economic liberty to grassroots entrepreneurs everywhere.

Contributor Letter to Hearst News Service Regarding History of Israel
Posted by: | CommentsJust a couple of days ago, I had the great fortune of meeting a gentleman by the name of Donald Bowles (a history major). During our conversation, he was eager to show me a letter he had written to Hearst News Service, immediately following the Helen Thomas interview where she loosely exposed her deep-seated hatred towards Israel and Jews. Although she has since apologized for her statement and resigned from the news service, the email still remains current because of the factual history contained within it’s writings.
Mr. Bowles has authorized me to reprint and share his letter with you as seen below:
June 5, 2010
Managing Editor
Hearst News Service
700 12th Street NW
Washington D.C. 20005Dear Sir:
I recently saw an interview of Helen Thomas making her statement that Jews need to go back to where they came from. I know she apologized but she also needs to be educated concerning the facts. I am a history major and have done considerable research on the matter. Please have Ms. Thomas study up on the facts.
First of all, the Jews have had a much longer history in Palestine than the so called Palestinians. Look it up on the internet. The Jews were forcefully removed from their native land. The Palestinians are in reality from Jordan and are relative newcomers compared to Jews.
Secondly, the Jews are there because of the Balfour agreement. Look that up as well. I know England was an occupying force but the Jews had nothing to do with that. If you use the argument that Jews should leave because the English had no rights to the land; then, the same logic could be used to tell Muslims to get out of the U.S. Knowing Ms. Thomas’ liberal bias, I am sure she thinks their presence here is okay.
Thirdly, the Jews never forced the Palestinians off of any land. They tried to coexist with them. It was the Palestinians and other Arab nations that have been the aggressors. Since when is it against the law to defend yourself and your property? Excuse me, I know, it has been politically incorrect since Sept 11, 2001.
Fourth, the Palestinians have constantly shot missiles into Israel. Why has the news media, including yours, always taken a Palestinian slant on this? The Palestinians kill Jews and the Jews defend themselves and our news media condemns Israel for defending itself-as if the Jews were the aggressors.
Lastly, before the Jews went back to their homeland, Palestine was a wasteland. They have made it into a land that is rich with agriculture and commerce. The Palestinians have benefited from the way the Jews have made the land prosperous. Something the media has failed to look at is, Israel has sent far more aid to Gaza than those ships the IDF boarded. The ships that contained aid were not harmed. The Jewish sailors were attacked with clubs before they defended themselves.
Every peace agreement in that area has been broken by the Palestinians, not the Jews. I am not asking that you take one side or the other. I am just asking that journalists become what their profession should require, honesty and professionalism. When the news media tells only one side of an issue, then how is the news media any better than the media of Nazi Germany? The bias in today’s media is the reason people have quit reading the newspapers and reading periodicals as well as trusting TV news. People, by observation, see the news from internet blogs is far more reliable. In fact, they came into existence, because the media has failed in its mission.
Sincerely,
Donald Bowles
Wishing You a Happy Easter Sunday
Posted by: | CommentsEaster is a day when Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is also the most well attended Sunday for Christian churches.
According to scripture, Christians that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion, is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin and thus provided all eternal life.
Western Christianity marks the ending of Lent with Easter, a 40-day period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline in preparation for Easter. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Easter Sunday. Eastern Orthodox churches observe Lent or Great Lent, during the 6 weeks or 40 days preceding Palm Sunday with fasting continuing during the Holy Week of Easter. Lent for Eastern Orthodox churches begins on Monday and Ash Wednesday is not observed.
A biblical account of Jesus’ death on the cross, or crucifixion, his burial and his resurrection, or raising from the dead, can be found in the following passages of Scripture: Matthew 27:27-28:8; Mark 15:16-16:19; Luke 23:26-24:35; and John 19:16-20:30.
The 912 Project Fan Site would like to wish all a Happy and Blessed Easter Sunday.
