Washington, DC, December 19, 2011: Out of control spending, out of control congress. Only a partisan leftwing media would assume the overwhelming Republican victory in November was a call for bipartisan compromise. The American People are spoiling for a fight. We prefer Gridlock to more debt. We would rather sit in DC traffic than in an ObamaCare waiting room.
In 1994 we gave the Republicans an opportunity to make a difference in DC. Instead we witnessed one compromise, one capitulation after another. Now, after 15 years of political posturing, after adding $10 TRILLION in debt to future generations, after government doubling in size on their watch, the Republicans in the US House think they are being rewarded with another chance to lead. We are sorry to disappoint, but the grownups are coming to provide adult supervision this time.
An overwhelming majority of Americans opposed the passage of ObamaCare and a strong message sent in November to repeal, not finesse, ObamaCare. We intend to force the Republican House to repeal this unconstitutional monster before doing anything else. Then we will move on to spending, taxes and immigration.
Americans are tired of the business as usual political class, a group more intent on maintaining job security for politicians than fighting for the future of our Republic. We want our country back from the elite political class of whatever party. We sent our gladiators and we expect them to fight for us. If it means a government shutdown, we are going to show them how to shut it down. We are calling on all patriotic Americans to be in DC on January, 5 2011 to participate in a rolling slowdown. We have Driving Routes and guidelines posted. The routes have been selected for maximum effect as the new congress is being sworn in.

Joe the Plumber and Herman Cain to Headline Midwest Event on 4th of July
Posted by: | CommentsOn the 4th of July Iowans will have the luxury of being the first stop on the “Take Back Our Government Tour”.
Local chapters of Americans for Prosperity will be the primary sponsor of this one of many coming events planned to tour across the United States to encourage citizens to Take Back Our Government.
Iowans will have the honor of hearing speakers like Joe the Plumber and Herman Cain, along with having having the extreme pleasure of hearing and seeing the overnight internet sensation, Lewis Schaeffer, sing his fourth verse of the Star Spangled Banner, our National Anthem as seen in the video at the bottom of this story. Local speakers will include, but are not limited to, Steve Deace with WHO Radio, Lynn Rodgers with 912 Project Des Moines group.
So, who is Joe the Plumber? His real name is Joe Wurzelbacher and he was given the opportunity to ask then Candidate Barack Obama a question of which he was more than happy to jump on the opportunity to ask Obama about his plan to tax people and business owners who make over $250,000 a year. Shortly after, the video of their conversation began making it’s rounds in the media. At which time a number of Obama supporters began using various Chicago and Illinois public equipment to do research to try to find ways to attack Joe for having the nerve to questioning their almighty Messiah’s tax plans. Herman Cain will be one of the key speakers for the “Take Back Our Government Tour” coming to Des Moines, Iowa. Herman is well known for being the founder of Godfather’s Pizza and for his strong level of patriotism for America as a black conservative who has been successful at everything he has done in life, except the one thing he continues to fail at. That would be his failure to retire after several attempts. Mr. Cain has now devoted himself to making sure all of our children and grandchildren have the same opportunities for success that he had while growing up. Herman has been a frequent speaker at Tea Party events, as well as, having been a guest on FOX News numerous times. Rumors are floating around that the national press will be attending the Des Moines, IA event with expectations of a major announcement he is expected to make. Could he be making his announcement to run as President for 1012? Be sure to attend the 4th of July event to find out!
Lewis Schaeffer is a Marine who approached the microphone during a Q & A session with Herman Cain at a Douglas County Tea Party event on June 3, 2010. Everyone was expecting him to ask Herman a question, and instead he began singing what he thought at the time to be the second verse to the National Anthem, and has later been identified as the fourth verse. The crowd was stunned as they began rising up to put their hands over their chests as Mr. Shaeffer amazed the crowd with his singing talents. What he didn’t know, is that his song had been captured by a fellow Tea Party member and he was about to have his singing talents broadcast on YouTube. Shortly after being published, the video took off like wild fire and was even picked up by FOX News who invited Lewis the Marine to be a guest on a couple of their shows. Prior to Lewis’ appearance in Des Moines he will be the guest at HorsePens40 where he will be singing for a family oriented event there.
The event will be held from 4pm – 6 pm at the Fort Des Moines Museum Complex in Des Moines, Iowa on July 4, 2010.
Michelle Obama wants America fit like the Military
Posted by: Andrea Mayer-Bruestle | Comments (2)On Thursday, January 27, 2011, Michelle Obama visited Fort Jackson in South Carolina and met with Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling. The Lt. Gen. has been working to change the Army’s diet and exercise programs in order to improve the fitness our military men and women. According to news reports, Ms. Obama told the Lt. Gen. that she “was fascinated by the project” and reiterated her oft-repeated statement “that lack of fitness is ‘not just a health issue but a national security issue.’”
So, has Michelle Obama now decided that the reforms pushed through by Executive Order and hidden within the Food Safety bill and Healthcare Reform are not enough – that now she must work with the military to enforce those reforms and add to them? Will the next statement coming from the Office of the First Lady be this: “The State is to care for the elevating national health by . . . the encouragement of physical fitness, by means of the LEGAL establishment of a gymnastic and sport OBLIGATION, by the utmost support of all organizations concerned with the physical instruction of the young.”? How far does the First Lady plan to go?
