Michelle Malkin – Tea Party Event Speaker at Little Rock, Arkansas
Posted by: | CommentsI was totally floored last month when informed that the guest speaker at the December 12, 2009 Tea Party in Little Rock, Arkansas would be Michelle Malkin. She was my inspiration to sign on to the 912 Project Fan Site last year, after the initial Tea Party on April 15, 2009.
I had her book “Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks, and Cronies“ in tow and she devoted an hour plus signing autographs on anything for many grass roots patriots attending the event.
Michelle was as gracious with her time as she is steadfast in her facts and research. Malkin gave a rousing speech at the tea party event, a portion is below, and received numerous standing ovations.
Even during this holiday period, she has not wavered in her strength and devotion to the Conservative Base. Many in attendance were not just Arkansans, the couple behind me came up from Texas. Now that is some draw, and a drive.
Thanks Michelle Malkin for your informative writings and for being a speaker at our Little Rock, Arkansas Tea Party meeting!
Three Quarters of a Year With Hope, But Change is for the Worse
Posted by: | CommentsNow I am no economist, banker, or financier but – I do know a major change for the worse when I see one in black and white. The Arkansas Democrat Gazette (Arkansas’s statewide newspaper) has on this Tuesday morning, October the 13th, 2009, 5 full pages (front and back) of foreclosures. The paper itself is only 48 pages! I am a whiz at math though & that’s over 20% of the paper devoted to foreclosures. What is unique about this particular issue, there is only 1 break in the listings as circled in the page layout above. It’s a little comic of Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! That is strange enough, but as you will see below it seems to answer Ripley’s requested exclamation. The titles of the comic facts are “Venom…” , ” Oops! Wrong Way…”, and “You Go… And Go, And Go..”! How appropriate that they accompany this sad volume of listings.
So if you hear the specialists droning on with fanciful speeches that the economy is on the rebound, DON’T YOU BELIEVE IT! For every house, property, business that is in foreclosure – equates directly to loss of employment. This is just a keen observation.
The Tea Party Express Rolls into Little Rock for a Rally
Posted by: | CommentsThe Tea Party Express rolled into Little Rock, Arkansas for a rally 9/4/2009. If it’s a new event to the reader, the Tea Party Express left California to arrive in Washington, DC for the huge 9-12 March. There is even a journey blog at the Tea Party Express
It’s an inspirational event with entertainment too. If you get an opportunity – see the buses, meet the team, and enjoy the atmosphere. There’s a great deal to be said for a safe, fun, Patriotic event with flair – where even children can see real Patriotism in action. If you live East of the Mississippi, you are still in luck, there are many stops along the way to the DC Rally. View the tour map at Tea Party Express .org

Jesse Kelly Fills in for Canceled Rep. Gabrielle Giffords at Town Hall Meeting
Posted by: | CommentsOn Auguest 13, 2009, Arizona’s 8th District Congressional candidate, Jesse Kelly, filled in for Rep. Gabrielle Giffords after she canceled a planned town hall meeting that was originally scheduled to be on Veterans issues.
While taking questions from all sides of the argument, a lady in attendance questioned statements he had made and asked for proof of his statements being in the contents of the health care reform bill. Jesse Kelly was more than happy to provide the questioner with copies of the specifics taken directly from the bill. Unfortunately, the video below does not show her responses after seeing the specifics in print, as presented in the bill itself.
See the results of the meeting in the video below.

Arkansas Leads the Way in Government Change
Posted by: | CommentsI have lived in 9 different states and I have never seen a more transparent change occurring than in the state I now live – Arkansas.

Maybe I was more of an observer of history and politics than becoming politically engaged for the last 30+ years but I have really seen an unusual coming out of candidates. Today I met Don White, the candidate of change for mayor for the town I live in, at my front door:
His web site is still under construction, but I learned a great deal about the man himself today. We had a conversation that lasted over 20 minutes as he was going door-to-door meeting, greeting, and handing out his business card. A daunting challenge to complete by himself with a Population in July 2008: 29,452. Population change since 2000: +34.4%. I felt so strongly about what he said that I volunteered to help him with his campaign for 2010 when he’s ready for it.
Over the last several months, I also have met candidate David Meeks who will be running for the U.S. House of Representatives and candidate Conrad Reynolds who will be running for the U.S. Senate for Arkansas. I can’t believe that these up-and-coming Arkansas candidates have the dedication, devotion, drive and commitment over other states that I have resided in. I have only met one other political figure previously in 45 years and that was my hometown mayor when he greeted my father and mother at a restaurant when I was young. What I am observing now is the change from the city level up and it is impressive. Conservatively speaking, I am proud to know these candidates for change and await the change they will bring to benefit the majority, instead of the few.
New Candidates, Fresh Ideas, Safe Rally on Health Care
Posted by: | CommentsNew Candidates, Fresh Ideas, Safe Rally on Health Care.
Non-Career Political Candidates Making Their Move.
David Meeks, the up and coming contender for Vic Snyder’s job, in the U.S. House of Representatives for the 2nd District of Arkansas, enjoyed a Rally 8.8.09 at Tyndall Park in Benton, Arkansas. Many community leaders were in attendance. The only heat in the Rally was the scorching temperature endured outside. David was punctual, professional, candid, and insightful. He tackled the huge puzzle that is the “Health Care (Scare) Bill”. He knew his topic and even the minute details as the accompanying video link will show. He’s been on the trail, just over 2 months, but he has quite the following. He is fully transparent and well informed. The attendees really learned the key points to the “Health Care Bill”. I knew where I stood before on this issue, and it has not changed. It is a nightmare and unacceptable. Thank-you David!
An additional welcome to the event was:
The arrival of Conrad Reynolds, the up and coming contender for Blanche Lincoln’s job, in the U.S. Senate for Arkansas. He came down just to show his support of David and to interact with the Rally attendees. I personally enjoyed a few moments of conversation with Mr. Reynolds, and I might add that he is also a Colonel U.S. Army (Ret) – 29 years of service. Pictured here, he speaks with our local Tea Party Leader. There were several key topics in our conversation but what struck me most is his honesty and integrity(both are currently in short supply in Washington DC). He retired from the service in January of this year and he owes no one! Fantastic!
There is a fresh breeze blowing across Arkansas with Real American Citizens, not career politicians, taking a stand and a call to political action and office.
How refreshing to go to a Live Rally in Arkansas without thugs in attendance. The video below with real concerned citizens demonstrates that civil discourse can be achieved when the “Dogs of War” (SEIU, HCAN & ACORN) are not present.
